Whether you want a perfect pizza, blissful pastry, pure organic in-house extracted juice; or if youre craving poutine (Montreal style gravy cheese fries), a fresh and generous burger, an elegant bottle of wine or gourmet crackers, or any of a number of other savories and gifts, Falls General Store is *the* place to go in Northfield. In addition to their amazing, reasonably priced, fresh food made as much as possible with local products, and in addition to daily specials, desserts, wholesome snacks, coffee and many usual and unusual beverages, they have the best owners and staff ever! Always welcoming, accommodating, and cheerful, this place is a lovin oven of friendliness, warmth, and hospitality. Seating is limited but take out is not! Stop by if you are going through Northfield or live nearby. You wont regret it! My personal favorites: poutine (the French fries here rank among the best Ive had anywhere), black bean quesadillas, and the desserts! Today I had a warmed up apple tart which had the most heavenly flawless crust. Yum!

Norma Rooney you are the best! Thank you for helping a Norwich Cadet mom put together a care package of goodies for my Rook and personally delivering it to him during finals week! You beat out Amazon on delivery, prices and better product offerings + you even deliver your gourmet sandwiches! Way to be an awesome local business that Northfield and the Norwich University community are lucky to have.

Pretty sweet deli, decent variety of craft beers, and all the random assorted things youd expect at a small town general store, except all the products are high quality and largely local. They have a kombucha filling station too. To my knowledge it is the only place in Northfield where you can buy kombucha at all, let alone refill your jug.

An absolutely beautiful store! So warm and inviting. The food and the sevice are outstanding. They treat you like family here. The owners, Norma and Vincent Rooney, will go out of their way to make you feel like you are home. Love this gem of a store. A must visit and revisit.

I usually stop here for a cone or coffee, while it may be somewhat expensive but it has a very nice atmosphere and great items on the menu. It has the small town general store atmosphere and some very unique products on the shelves.

Was just a quick stop for a bathroom break on the road, but it seemed to be a charming place to shop. I took just a quick walk around and grabbed a couple of things to take on the riad. Wish I had more time to spend there.
