All of the petsmarts Ive been to are AMAZING. The customer is always right. So, I was surprised about this location. My dog and I attended the "puppy party" and when we arrived, the staff didnt know ANYTHING about it. We asked this lady, and she gave us a little info, but it wasnt too clear. Then, we asked this other lady and she gave us some info and asked us my dogs age. Hes turning 2 in may, so we told her that. 20 minutes later, they gave out blankets and then the lady that asked my dogs age said that this was for dogs under the age of 1. First of all, she shouldve let us know after I told her my dogs age! Secondly, saying that basically means that dogs over the age of one cant own a blanket. She refused to give the blanket. I wasnt happy. Then, she went to the manager and said "shes complaining that the event is for dogs under the age of one" pointing at us. The manager then said "its not really a party, its a training event, but just give her the blanket. The lady then gave us one, and I furiously walked out of the store. Also, the stores cleanliness wasnt great. There was a lot of wayet (or maybe urine) on the ground and Ive smelled petsmarts a lot better than this one. I wont be shopping at this location any time soon.

Understaffed in many places, 1 person on cashier even when their is 6 people on line and if you have to call for another person to be on cashier their grumpy and annoyed like we are nagging them. Also in the fish department if thier are workers there they are always doing something else so if you have a question or want to buy a fish you have to hunt them down and ask if you can have assistance and then they say one minute and it takes 5 or more minutes for someone to help you. Also everywhere you go there is the stench of dog pee and people let their dogs piss on the floor and leave it so you can walk around and step in a pool of dog piss and nobody cleans it up unless you ask them and they get mad when you do. All in all its a really crap place and many things are over priced with very poor service. You can tell that the owners of petsmart really dont care about customers. Go to Petco instead! Its nice and always staffed and the staff in nice and willing to help you find items and go the extra mile helping you with information on your pets and it really is a nice place.

I was interested in the chinchillas that were available at this location. I went in once and there were 2 available. When I was ready to get them I went back and there was only 1. They allowed someone to separate a bonded pair of chinchillas. That is beyond me.... Anyone who knows anything about chinchillas should know that they should NOT be separated ever. When I asked to pet the 1 chinchilla they had left the worker opened the cage and grabbed this poor animal like it was a toy. As it struggled to run away and get out of her grasp it was squealing and she was laughing like it was cute. My jaw dropped at this and I immediately told the woman not to worry about picking it up. Not only that but this poor chinchilla is visibly overweight. I have never seen such cruelty and lack of knowledge for any animal in person in my life. This poor animal is not being taken care of properly at all and Ill be very surprised if it doesnt die from the stressful conditions it is living in

DONT GO HERE!!! The guy at the cash was EXTREMELY unpolite, unhelpful, very rude and annoying at the checkout and... I came back 20 mins after buying two items that at the end I didnt need, and he asked my why Im returning this in a very bad way. At the end he did the refund BUT he gave me 10 dolars less than he should, I told him and he complained, put a bad face and gave me the money. Today Im reading the first receipt after some weeks and I realize he charged me some items twice when I only got one! OMG I cant believe this man. If you end in this store PAY ATTENTION to what you are charged, and the money you give and the change... If you can stand this guy of course, he is really bad beheaved.

Eric the cashier was very rude We told him a phone number , he never put it in , then we used a by 3 get one free then it took some time to pull up the code but then when he handed us the reciept he tore it and gave He was showing attitude towards us because of our race and religion While we were leaving he started talking smack behind our backs with the next customer in line He was mimicking my mother and i by making stupid faces which is what he already looks because he is stupid but I will never go to PetSmart if that idiot is there please FIRE ERIC

I am never gonna bring my dog to this location ever again. My dogs been coming here for yrs. And I have been less than impressed a number of times but now I m done. My dog had a bath here, the next day her eye became bloodshot red. I called the groomer to find out if something happened durinf the bath. The managers response was that I complaine too much and should find a new groomer. ..... dont worry I will never bring my dog to you again. Just prey the vet doesnt determine that there was trauma to the eye.

Was on the phone forever trying to get to the aquarium department. I was bounced around several times and on hold for a long time.finally one of the associated (I think his name was Jerrel?) answered and saw I wad being bounced around in the telephone. He personally went to check on the item I was looking to see if they had. Once I got there, Shannon helped me find what I was looking for and answered any questions I had. I liked it here much better than the local petco.

This pet smart is okay the PetSmart in Staten Island on Forest Avenue the workers are horrible negative atmosphere non welcoming extremely unprofessional incompetent workers one of the managers stoled my wallet spoke with the company they did nothing about it they need major Improvement in order to succeed in their business the customer should always come first without us they are nothing.

I took my dog there to get groomed about two months ago. The lady that took care of my dog did a horrible job, very uneven cut all over body and ears. When I got home i fixed up my dog and noticed that she didnt even have her nails cut... WTF! What did I pay for then? Def not going back there again!

I like the store and the employees are friendly and helpful for the most part. I paid a ton of money for a plan at banfield and have been very disappointed with the long wait time to see a vet, even with an appt. The vets arent thorough with my dog and dont listen to my concerns.
