I had the worst experience with this store. I booked an appointment because they had appointments available for the following day (I usually go to PetCo MUCH BETTER OVER THERE). I have a 4 year old Maltese who is a ball of energy. My boyfriend warned them when he was dropped off at 12pm that he was very hyper and the response he got was "oh thats okay hes so cute." 4pm he gets a phone call saying that my dog is too hyper. He was dropped off at 12pm and now 4 hours later we are being told he is too hyper?!? They tried to tell him that we would be charged a "handling fee" I have been to 3 different places to get him groomed and never heard of such a thing nor did I ever get complaints about his hyperness. AND they were warned BEFORE they took him and NEVER said anything about a "handling fee." If a customer is WARNING you that their dog is hyper and you charge a "handling fee" why would you NOT mention that? She said she was going to groom him but next time there will be a "handling fee." After this experience there will NOT be a next time. $70 for a crappy grooming job ridiculous! OH! AND I DID NOT EVEN GET A CALL SAYING HE WAS READY finally after 6 oclock we just went to pick him up. 6 HOURS MY DOG WAS THERE AND I DID NOT EVEN GET A CALL SAYING HE WAS READY! Unbelievable, unprofessional, and such a total waste of time. I will most definitely be going to PETCO from now on. I get a much BETTER customer experience, no complaints about my dog, and a better price.

My puppy, Marshmallow, and I went through puppy/beginner and intermediate dog training. Our teacher Michelle was absolutely wonderful! She is extremely knowledgeable and patient with each dog in the class (especially mine who gets frustrated at times). The classes were small enough that each dog/human gets the attention they need, but still big enough that there is a change for socialization among the dogs. My first class had 3 dogs and the second had 5. Marshmallow made friends in each class and seemed to actually look forward to going to PetSmart each time. Michelle would show a command to each of the pups and get them to do it and then she would help the human do it with the pup. There would also be time for discussions about concerns or stories that happened during the week. I liked the mix of training and talk as it really was helpful understanding how Marshmallow was developing. The cost was very reasonable and I believe that I was able to get a discount on the training when they had a sale. Thank you so much Michelle! Marshmallow and I will be back for advanced training and we recommend Michelle and PetSmart to anyone looking for a good dog trainer.

We just finished puppy training at the PetSmart in Wayne with trainer Michelle, she is outstanding. So friendly, sincere, true love of the dogs, patient, and professional. We had adopted our English Bulldog Dozer a few months ago who is approximately 1 1/2 to 2 years old, but thinks he is a puppy so we need training asap. While at Petsmart one night with Dozer to buy food we asked about their training classes, Michelle was there and came over met Dozer, he loved her immediately, she explained their classes and gave us some great tips to use at home too So happy we signed Dozer up, he graduated puppy class this week and we will be going onto the intermediate class, of course with Michelle being the trainer.

This post is only in regards to the grooming salon. I made an appointment for a Saturday at 930 and they said it would take 3 hours which seemed like a very long time. When I got there they said I could pick him up between 1:45 and 2. That is 4 and a half hours!!! The place was a mess and the dogs were barking like crazy. Rude people working there who tried to charge us a "rush fee" for getting our do out within 3 hours. We pulled him out before the appointment started and will not be going back. I suggest you do the same.

I have a VERY difficult dog to groom, hes snappy and old. It was a nightmare getting turned down other places to groom him, and to say the least he had gown pretty bad. Amirah was the BEST!! She worked get magic with him! Not only did she get to shave him and cleaned the sanitary areas super good but also ground the nails down so well! I will always call and ask for her! Thanks Amirah!

the groomers suck. i brought my pitbull there to get a deshedding bath. i said he didnt need his nails cut but they proceeded to try and cut them when i do them myself. they were pulling at his legs. my dog is very easy going but was grtting pissed. never again will i bing him. ive never seen him so stressed out in my life

The groomers will always add on fees such as oh the dog wouldnt sit still or he had a knot...crazzy part is my dog gets brushed daily and he is the most behaved dog when he gets groomed. Makes me think that the extra money they try to sucker from you goes into the groomers pocket #justsaying. BOTTOM LINE. NOT HONEST

Business is clean and workers are friendly. Store location is easy enough to reach. Only complaint is that the online prices never match the store price on the things I purchased... So I always have to pull up the website on my phone and have them adjust to the lower price.

Good stuff..prices ehhh theyre ok. The four stars are for the big selection of things from food, toys to grooming necessities. Not a five star because it smells bad as soon as you walk in. Still a very organized place. A little febreeze will do the trick.
