I am a veteran. I have been shopping Home Depot for years on the west coast. Here at this store, the cashier refused to honor my veteran status and ID card. She would not listen and refused to give me a discount. I can only assume she is not a patriot and dislikes people who have served. I will go to Lowes next time.

I love home depot. Very disappointed tonight with a male employee. I asked him a question because I am handy and the man only looked at my husband and spoke to him like I wasnt there. The employees need to be trained to be patient with woman and treat us the same. I may be trying Lowes from now on.

My wife and I saved thousands of dollars restoring our condo to sell it! The military discount is also an awesome thing! The Home Depot credit card is the only thing that we had a problem with. Heres some advice on that: pay it off when you have 0% interest before you use it for other things!

Terrible! I went to purchase a lawnmower & told the employee that I wanted a particular. He said you dont want that one. He avoided me to wait on a man whom didnt purchase a mower. He clearly didnt want a sale! Especially from a woman !! I took my business elsewhere!

Not really a fan. They gave me a hard time on a return (told me nobody else had EVER been dissatisfied with the product before) and they never have anyone available to help when you need it. I now take my business to Lowes whenever possible.
