I overheard a conversation between two employees while shopping in the tool rental department. The older employee told the younger one that he used to be a police officer. The younger one then asked the older one how he felt about the protests in New York and Ferguson. The older employee Referred to black people as "animals" and said they were "responsible for the downfall of society". He further said that he disliked camera phones because cops "cant beat the crap out of them for being stupid anymore". The younger employee then excused himself, and looked visibly uncomfortable. I do not feel safe shopping at a store where they would hire someone who would so freely talk about violating a persons human rights.

Called on the phone to get information about their wood pellets. After 20 min on the phone and being transferred to someone new every 5 min I finally decided to head over there. The store was completely empty and Asked someone if I could get a pallet of wood pellets. They looked at me like I had 5 heads. After calling for someone we then proceeded to wait 10 minutes until someone finally came over. Told them what we wanted and it took them another 15 minutes for them to finally get a pallet. Finally they were putting it on my truck and the guy driving the forklift was either drunk or had no idea what the hell he was doing. Worst experience ever definitely better off going to lowes.

The service is excellent, I come here every week minimum for every home project imaginable and you will find very helpful assistance in all departments. Very detailed problems can be reviewed by the right person, and the general staff is quite good at finding the experts based on your individual needs. Certain hours they may not be there, but if the individual you ask is communicative about it (and they have been with me) they will admit that and let you know what hours you should expect experts in the store based on your needs. again it depends on your persistence, and willingness to engage staff for honest answers.

Today I met a woman (HD employee) at the Home Depot that could possibly be the sweetest person I ever met. She was in the front of the store watering the flowers and just moments after striking up a conversation with her I was absolutely amazed at how genuine and pleasant she was. In our brief 3 minute conversation I was convinced that she was exactly what I needed to brighten my day today. She is very sweet, caring and humble...a real Gem, never let her leave. Please tell her thank you for making my day, she really is a wonderful woman.

Whenever I need to purchase an item sold at HD or other home improvement stores, I always check Home Depot first. Why? Simple. The store associates are wonderful. It doesnt matter what type of purchase we are making, everyone is knowledgeable and helpful. Even just walking through the stores, the associates just seem happy to see customers and help. Ive walked into this location right after leaving another home improvement store in the next town over, and been amazed at how different the customer experience is.

Their will call policy is really no call for a month. They also botched their return policy and refused to mail the gift card that they would issue. Last time I checked, it is 2016 and there is no reason that the money should not have been credited to our credit card. Their policies or operator error of their policies was difficult to deal with, frustrating, and not good customer service. We have experienced much better at other stores.

Walked in with a list of lumber needed without knowing if it would fit in my car. Assistant Manager Paul walked up, grabbed a 2 x 4 and said well lets go test it out! Paul confirmed I could fit everything and helped me find exactly what I needed, loaded my cart and took me to check out with "Papa John." Without a doubt, best customer service Ive ever experienced. Couldnt be a nicer group of people.

Today I went to Home Depot of Roxbury and realized how great of a place it is. I went in to buy a dehumidifier and the store manager Bryan helped me locate it and load it on my truck. The price was great but the service was even better. Bryan thank you for the help and kindness it was really appreciated. I would rated this store with 5 more stars if possible.

This man seen us lost and we didnt have to ask him for help he stopped what he was doing and walked us to what we were looking for......companies need more Tom people

Good value but store is terribly under staffed. Waited 15 minutes to find someone in plumbing that could cut a piece of pipe. Finally gave up and went to Lowes. Too bad. I really like the Depot!
