Grooming experience: We visited the store 2 days before our appointment to see & meet who will groom our yorkie & to let them know he can NOT be in a cage (he have trauma for 2 days after). So, we made the appoint for 11:30am, my wife arrives with our dog at 11:20am, Joanne was still working on other dog, so my wife told her shell be waiting outside, when shes done Joanne can call her & she will bring the dog in. 11:50am, my wife went back in, Joanne said shes done with the dog & we r next. We hand her our dog, making sure again with her, NO CAGE !!! My wife left & came back after an hour, around 01:00pm.... Joanne was grooming other dog, & our dog was in a cage !!! Beside the fact that now we need to wait another hour, our dog was crying like crazy, as we knew. She groom the dog, we paid & left. My wife called me & told me the story, I called Petstore & ask to speak to a manger, after 15 mins on the line, I got ONE of the manger named Kathy. After I explain her what happen, she said that she will inform the grooming manger.....JOANNE.... Really...?!!! U will inform Joanne of what she did....?!! This store run by kids, that have no idea what is it customer service. Dont get close to this store.

Alaris groomed my havanese that was in a pretty bad shape and did a great job! She recommended a service with oatmeal and said it would be good for his coat and sure enough it did exactly what she said. His skin was dry and itchy before. Now I barely see him scratch. Im writing this review because I want her to know how satisfied i am with her service! I didnt get a chance to tell her personally so Im writing here. Im also giving a feedback because she apologized! Even doing such a great job she called me to apologize because she was not able to groom him as she wouldve liked. I imagine That freckles gave her a hard time, he gets really uncomfortable with strangers. I really appreciated her attitude. It shows perfectionism and care! I definitely recommend her and will be going back to her soon. THANK YOU Alaris!

My Appointment was at 8 and I was the first one to get there but I had to wait someone else that was late. Whats the point of an early appointment if I have to wait for someone that is late. I dont mind waiting if I know theres people ahead of me but have to wait on someone that is not there yet? They started working on my dog it was almost 11am. This was my first and last time with this place.

They let the Newark Shelter host adoption events every weekend and are always so gracious about it. They demonstrate a passion and care for animals. Every time we show up with the shelter dogs, every staff member shows each animal love and respect. This store is everything you want out of a pet store - dedication to the care and well being of animals. A+

I love everything about this particular Petsmart location. Convenient location, amazing staff, dependable hours, average prices, and both grooming and training are available for pets. I go there weekly and am always greeted by all employees. My puppy Padfoots favorite person is the trainer Amber. He never wants to leave the store!

Brought my dog in for haircut. Had a nasty allergic reaction to something they used there. The manager was very short, and spoke to me as if I were stupid. Only reason for a second star is the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Very rude and lazy groomers. Over priced. Find a private groomer. A private groomer has much more experience and has invested in owing there own place, not like these lazy young girls who are employed in this place.

Like I said in last review Dr Walsh is by far the best doctor my dogs ever been too she made me and Chaz very happy extremely dedicated and caring I highly recommend her! ! ! And her staff is also extremely caring
