I GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I work in a doctors office. the blinds we purchased for the office gave us problems since we got them. we continued to call the place to fix them. the man is very VERY RUDE. He came out to fix one of the blinds but what he did was pull a clip from a working blind to fix the other. so we still have a damaged blind. he stated he would return to fix the non working blind. weeks went by no show. we called him and he said well i never said id come back, you need to pay me for another trip out there, you need to give me a service order.....how do you pay someone for additional service when you did not fix the first time you came around? As the customer where the hell do i get a service order? we were referred to this place by a interior designer who has used him for years. she told him your extreme rudeness is a deal breaker do you understand that you have lost my friendship and future service over this? his response was well if thats how its got to be. He did not care to lose service or a friend. That is not a good business. NEVER EVER USE THIS LOCATION. ARROGANT. RUDE. DISRESPECTFUL. NOT A SINGLE AMOUNT OF KIND COSTUMER SERVICE ON A BLIND HE WAS PAID TO FIX AND NEVER DID. I HOPE HE RUNS OUT OF BUSINESS. AND AND UPDATE ON MY REVIEW. HE POSTED A NEGATIVE REVIEW FOR DOCTOR OFFICE AND HES NEVER BEEN A PATIENT. PROOF OF HIS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CLEARLY VERY CHILDLIKE. PLEASE CLOSE YOUR BUSINESS CAUSE YOURE CLEARLY PETTY AND STUPID

This is absolutely the ruddest owner (Robert goldman) of any store I have ever met. Mr. Robert, to be owner of a store, you have to greet costumers with a smile and be nice if you want them coming back and not be super uptight and rude. I was barely there 5 minutes when he was talking down to me. How funny that one of the 5 star ratings is from him. He desperately needs it. I would advice going somewhere else. Check the other stores ratings, they are a lot better than this store. I have been to another store, Soltz in cross keys and the owner happened to be there and him and his employee were stupendous. Another couple was there confused and the employee spend the time to help them pick out a color and leave the store very happy just like I did too. My experience here was completely different. Never again Im I going back to this store. Want paint, go to Soltz, they have more options and are a lot nicer. Soltz has a lot more stores for a reason. Please dont bother in coming here and dealing with a very rude owner. I have a feeling some of the "no name" reviews are from the people who work there that he made leave a good review.

Custom colors are not returnable and never guaranteed to match perfectly when purchased at different times. Its always advisable to keep some extra paint for touch-ups or better yet repaint a wall corner to corner. Also, flat finishes touch up much better than eggshell, matte, or satin. The Paint Barn has been in business for over 40 years and treats customer satisfaction as the foundation of its business. It is the stores policy to forward any complaints on a manufacturers products to that particular manufacturer or vendor. The Paint Barn employs color specialists, interior designers, and trained decorators. The store offers a unique and high level of service not to be confused with an ordinary paint store. The Paint Barn has gained many satisfied customers who sincerely appreciate the availability of color and design help. There are different levels and options available for customers to choose from depending on the scope of their project and generally requires an appointment and a small good-faith deposit.

DO NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE, RUDE SERVICE. I went with my father to buy some wood stain & get some advice on refinishing our staircase. Mark is the main sales person at the store, and he was *extremely* rude & unhelpful. This was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. Half the store is for paint supplies, another half of the store has hardwood floors & stair treads. When we asked Mark for a price for one of the hardwood floors, he asked us to come back tomorrow- just to get the price. When we asked if there were any way to get a price today, seeing how we had come all the way to the store, Mark got very angry. Apparently, he didnt want to give us the price, and our asking for it was unacceptable to him. He *actually* kicked us out of the store. When we asked if he was "forcibly" pushing us out, he said (and I quote) "I havent laid hands on you- yet". I think this speaks for itself. Only go here if you want to be insulted & bullied around. There are many better places than this.

Ive gotten great advice about color combinations within and between rooms. Im always sure to write down the color name AND NUMBER or circle the number on a paint chip card to show them, as many names sound similar, and the number is what they go by. I then double check the paint label to what I showed them before I leave the parking lot. We usually paint trial patches of 2 or 3 colors in a room before we decide, so the writing down and double checking is so that I dont make a costly error, and we dont make a mistake in hearing each other. I have never had them make an error.

had the exact opposite experience. Each time Ive been in to the Paint Barn (about five times....) - theyve been very helpful - they have also given me the number of various contractors in the local area who turned out to be great recommendations. Sorry for the previous guys but perhaps they have new staff now - The Paint Barn is a helpful business for the home DIY enthusiast who is looking for more than just products that you can typically get in Home Depot. These guys know their stuff!

Excellent paint shop. I tend to be skeptical of human nature and motives of shopkeepers, but I trust these guys. The owner and his staff are in business for the long haul and always give advice that is in the best interest of their customers. They are also very knowledge and takes the time to explain everything. I come here for all my paint needs!

Some contractors suggested I try Benjamin Moore paint. The paint may be better than Valspar or Behr but dont get it here. They seemed annoyed with my questions and didnt want to be bothered. Rather than insult somebody for buying big box paint in the past maybe they can explain why theirs is better.

Refused to return the wrong color can of paint that they had mixed and sold to me. Told me it was "my word against theirs". Not acceptable to treat customers so rudely. Ace Hardware in Princeton has Benjamin Moore paint and they are MUCH nicer.
