Hi, ladies. Do you want to be sexually harassed and have your personal space violated while shopping for home fashions? Then this is the place for you! The two gentleman at the paint counter were so unbelievably kind and helpful on the first of my three visits. I felt comfortable and confident in both my purchases and utilizing this companys store. Since I had to paint an entire house, I only purchased paints for a couple of rooms to test out the brand. It was a nice visit and I was excited to go back for the rest. On my second visit about a week later, those two gentleman were still there and I was happy to see them. However, out of left field came one of the stores higher-ups (VP). At first, I thought he was just friendly, but his comments became progressively inappropriate. I know this will give me away as a customer for this review, but Im pregnant. He actually said, "Can I be your baby? Id love to be your baby. Although, it might be more difficult diapering me." What in the blue hell makes that an ok thing to say to someone? It just continued from there with awkward arm touches, talking to my stomach, and saying other inappropriate things. I was nice in response, but that is who I am--and I shouldnt have been. I truly regret not putting him in his place then and there. Unfortunately the paint bases were out of stock, so I had to return the next day. I brought my mom, because I really didnt want to deal with such an uncomfortable situation again. Honestly, I shouldnt have gone back at all. While I was waiting to get the paint that was mixed for me ahead of time, he reappeared behind me and wrapped his arms around me. My mom, hero that she is, said, "Thats enough. Get your hands off of her." And physically thwarted him. He said more awkward things very similar to the day before from a further distance, and we rushed out of there. There needs to be some work training for sexual harassment or the removal of this man from the sales floor. Maybe some women have acted pleased with his actions in the past, but they were probably as shocked and off-put as I was. No matter what, you keep your words professional and you do not touch your customers. This applies to business and life in general. I absolutely will not be back. If there was a corporate hierarchy above him, I would have written them already. Unfortunately, this appears to be a family-run business, so the best I can do is warn others.
