If I could rate them negative 10 I would. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! I wish I had read the reviews here before I went there. Pete is the SHADIEST SCAM artist I have seen and trust me I have bought plenty of used cars. His son is just as shady and Pat who sits behind the wall is rude and nasty. However I gave it right back to her so she knows who to get nasty with! In regards to my car. I just bought a car from them 2 weeks ago and from the very start the vehicle was giving problems. It would not start. I figured it was the battery because I know when vehicles sit too long they need a jump. No big deal right? They change the battery. I told them I will give them 3k in cash and pay the remaining $700 in 2 weeks. Sure enough 2 hours after I leave them the vehicle does not start! I waited about 45 minutes before the vehicle finally decided to start. Move it along 2 weeks later; I get back from vacation and the very same day I was going to pay them the remaining balance the vehicle did not start on me on my way to work. It started up about a minute later. I leave work that day and the vehicle did not start at all. I call Pete this fool had the audacity to say its strange that the vehicle do not want to start on the date I need to pay. Are you kidding me??? I had to take an Uber there from work because this fool was yelling at me over the phone. He tried to intimidate me because I am a woman. Im from Trenton born and raised thats a little hard to do buddy! I told him we could call it even I will have the vehicle towed back to their lot and they give me back my money. Of course he said no then said hell have his mechanic look at it. As if!! I would never trust their mechanic to fix anything because if that was the case their mechanic should have saw those problems before the car was sold! I will do everything in my power to ensure that another consumer do not fall victim to this unscrupulous car lot! Theyre used to uneducated people who do not understand their rights and laws as a consumer. I encourage anyone that is reading this that has had any issues whatsoever with these people or any dealer to reach out to your local legislature, superior court, FTC and the Better Business Bureau. Do NOT let them get away with STEALING your hard earned money because thats EXACTLY what they are doing. STEALING!! On a side note: 2 different mechanics and tow truck guy the guy who towed my truck both told me that Pete is a shady character. That this fool is notorious for doing shady business. They do not work on their cars at all, they buy their cars from junk yards and auctions. They lied and told me they buy from a dealer. Thats a lie!!!

They knowingly sold me a car with a bad transmission. I noticed about a week later. I got the car with a warranty. They kept my car for about a month. They told me they rebuilt the transmission and refused to tell me the name of the shop because they said that the dealership was their " customer" not me. After I got the car back they finally told me the name of the shop who fixed it. 5 months later my transmission is starting to break down againe. I was under the impression I had a new transmission with a warranty. Turns out when I called the shop to inquire about my warranty they informed me that they put a salvaged transmission into my car. Pete from chambers st. Auto sales lied to me and pretended not to rember me later. I talked to him multiple times after I purchased the car because of all the issues I was dealing it. I would not recommend doing bisnuss here.

Sadly I will piggyback off the other negative reviews for Chambers Street Auto sales. They are truly the classic bate and switch. They are nice on your arrival and make all these promises and their "warranty" but 1 weeks after buying my car I had problem after problem after problem. The mechanic at pep Boys said they should have never sold me the vehicle. It was unsafe from the start and either they did not check it out or checked it out and just didnt care. The starter went bad, I needed a new transmission, sparks and plugs. Stay far away from this Chamber Street Auto sales!

Most horrible place to buy any vehicle and the lady there Pat need customer service training. She was very nasty to both my husband and I and tried to given us receipt with incorrect price, the title took almost a month to come to us and when we called to ask she was not very helpful. she hang up the phone when you ask questions. we will never buy anything from there again and we will make sure anyone we know never buy from them either.

This place was is pretty okay. I bought a 02 Honda Accord from here and it kept up for 2year. It had many miles on it and it just went on Monday. I will say that I needed about $1,200 of work done on it over the past 2yrs. The car was old though. Im looking forward to going there again and hopefully I get something better that wouldnt need much work.

Horrible place to go the guys there are total frauds and do not help you after you purchase. I brought my car from them and 2 days later it broke down and they would not help me they told me I need to keep up with the maintenance problems I do not advise anybody to go there

Ive bought two cars here and helped me after my purchase as well if something went wrong. You just have to talk to the right people. Tom is no help but if you speak to hector he would help you with the maintenance and what cars dont have problems.
