I never have dealt with a dealer that was as negative as the one that I dealt with here. Not only did he some uninterested in doing business, he acted as if I was beneath him. You would think a dealership would very much try to get customers in, not intentionally send them away, especially first time customers who might be eventual repeat customers. I came too look at at 2007 Dodge Charger, which was in good condition, and the asking price could come down just a bit. I brought my car as a trade, which from a backyard mechanic stand point was in great condition, no rust, leaks or mechanics issues and no computer codes. All he did was do a car fax check and immediately say "whole sale is a grand on this car". My car is a Cadillac. Not a top of the line caddy, but one that is in better condition then half of his lot. I looked at him and said edmunds wants 3k and blue book is about 4k, how did you get a grand? He just shrugs and says "thats what I offer". I only wanted 2500 at the least for the car as a trade in. I know businesses have to make a legit profit, but what he was offering and his "meh" attitude was insulting. I walked away. Dont come here. Most of his cars (other than the charger which was surprisingly clean) were rusty, falling apart hunks of crap. His attitude matches his business. At least make me want to buy your car. Make me interested. Dont bore me with your half assed auto knowledge. Save for someone who doesnt know cars.

It was the worst service that I have, with this small dealership. I traveled from hackettstown( 35 minutes ), my first time to see dodge charger. They did not have it in the moment. So just asked the price and I said be back tomorrow to check the car with my parents. Obviusly the next day, I went with the cash, and ready for negociate. The car price was $4990. In case that the car wasnt negotiable, I did have $ 6000 in cash for taxes and fees, If the car was in good condition. so when my mom asked if he can give us a discount, he said the price was firm and he talked with me about it, ( I just asked the price the last time ) , so a family was a side of me browsing a car, and he gaves a $500 discount. So we we said why he didnt with us. He was a jerk, and said that the fact that a discount to a person, does not mean that we will cut and that was. That while we went to look for other dealer, and lost a cash sale. I give the physical description, because I cant remenber the name (tall, shaved head and color person). If he had explained differently or some other have said why could not give us a discount for that car, maybe we would acquired the car. Another thing, when you asked about car fax, they said a " not , it doesnt have it " " I dont know " . There are other better and cheaper places to buy cars . I hope this review be remembered when you put the GPS to this address. Dont buy here.

I had to pick one star because there arent negative stars! I bought a car and when I was there Andrew said he didnt need my pay stubs then decided later he did and then when I didnt email them within a day he threatened to repo the car. The car was also not at all maintained and needed $2000.00 in repairs and maintenance including 3 tires and a water pump and a serpentine belt and breaks! Even though he said it was at the Toyota dealer the week before. Although he admitted he had no idea when the last oil change was done (so it obviously wasnt done by him nor did he bother finding out from the previous owner when he bought it) he tried to tell me that the repair place I was going to only wanted my money and was trying to rip me off. When I disputed this he didnt try to apologize or figure anything out he simply told me if I wasnt happy I should return the vehicle. I live 2 1/2 hours away and had to get a ride there so it would not be all that easy to do. My advice? Avoid this place like the plague!

The entire experience dealing with Sussex Auto Group was positive from the very beginning. I browsed the inventory online and found several cars that I was interested in. I narrowed it down to a 2008 Toyota Solara convertible. It was great to be able to shop without having a salesman follow me around. I called and spoke with Andrew and got all the details and facts about the car. My wife and I drove out to Hopatcong to look at it the next morning and I drove it home It does not get any easier than that. I love the car.

Very disappointed ! Bought our daughter a 2004 Range Rover Feb 13,2016 for her 17th birthday .. Cant even drive it because its been at a garage for the past month because it needs a new engine.. How can someone sell a car like that and have no guilt .. Probably didnt know that we are a military family which my husband has served for 31 yrs . And still serves , Protects all of us everyday .. Thank you for everything ..

Never buy a vehicle from here. I bought my car and after two days the antifreeze container broke, the car failed inspection three times and cost me hundreds of dollars to fix the problems, and after three months the engine broke and the car couldnt run. When I reached out to the dealer Andre, he told me it was not his problem. Worst dealer I have ever experienced.

This was outstanding customer service! I took advantage of their trade in offer, so one of their staff picked up my old car. The next day I received my Mustang (freshly detailed, as is normal). Everything was quick and painless. It was a pleasure doing business with them! If you need a used car dealer, use them.

Although the company has all the cars and details online on their website, I went to them in person. I was thrilled to see only smiling faces and to learn so much about their offers and used car from Jay. I ended up buying an Explorer, and dont regret the decision on bit.
