The guys at Sussex Bike & Sport Shop were AWESOME. What an incredible buying experience. You dont get good old fashioned customer service like that too often anymore. Tyler spent tons of time with me helping me pick out the right bike for me, and Jason spent about an hour fitting it and educating me on it when I picked it up. They included a free water bottle & cage as well as a year of free service. Jason said hed like to see me back with it in 30 days for a "check up" to see if it needs any further adjustments. (It was like the doctor telling you to come in for a follow up visit...lol) They told me about all sorts of upcoming riding events and invited me to check out their riding club (Black Bear Cycling), too. It is obvious that they have a true passion for the sport and are dedicated to helping people get into it. Will be back and would recommend them to anyone.

I have been going to this shop for 6.5 years now. I still have and actively ride my bike I bought that time ago. Jason and his staff are patient, knowledgeable, and super friendly, and always have time to talk. Measurements are taken, all questions answered. That day I picked up my 2010 Trek Fuel Ex 6 was unforgettable. My finance card hadnt been mailed yet, thus no payment was able to be made, but he let me take home my new bike that day, with the words "i know your get for it, just go out and ride!" After picking my jaw off the floor, and asking "are you sure?" I did just that. I will never forget that day, and have been a loyal fan/customer ever since with more happy purchases and many referrals since that day. Thanks Jason for letting me get out and ride that day!

Im a very short, older female rider. Ive been to several bike shops. NO PLACE spent as much time trying to help me find a bike that fit my size AND my riding style (zippy mountain bike!). The salesmen in some other shops were somewhat condescending. Not so here. Tom and Pete WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure I was happy with my mountain bike purchase. I trekked all the way to the Newton location and tested several bikes. They were super patient. Very happy with my final purchase. They also have free adjustments for a year after purchase. The owner, Jason, promptly responded to all my questions before I even went there the first time. Very helpful place. I highly recommend Sussex Bike and Sport.

A full service Bike Shop. Superior customer service, great prices, and great selection. Jason & Company have a true passion for the sport of biking. Their knowledge is second to none, and they only want to sell you something if it is a total fit for your needs. No pressure at all, just questions to determine your needs and then they thoroughly explain the options. They also are involved in giving back to the sport via club involvement, mountain bike races, charity rides, safety demonstrations, etc. Give them a try if you are not already a customer. You will not be disappointed!

Went in looking for my first real road bike. The owner is very knowledgeable and took his time to educate me for what i was looking for. Went in again today to get a final price, the owner thought about me from our last conversation and brought a bike my size and price range. He let me take it for a test ride up the road with out even giving it a second thought. This is why I will aways choose small business. They think about thier customers and always give quality service. Excellent I wont buy a bike from anywhere else.

Service was good, prompt, and friendly, on the phone as well as in person. Prices seemed fair ($25 for a tire, $2 for ball bearings). My only gripe is that when I walked in, obviously dazed and confused, the employees all continued their conversation in the back, paying no apparent attention to me until I shouted "hey" at them. But all employees do this from time to time.

I dropped off an old Walmart 79.99 bike for a rear inner tube I was told I needed brakes Never once was a price mentioned 88.66 dollars later I was given an wrench force tune up 54.99 I know I buy bikes where I can afford them but why screw screw a guy for service?? Never again!!!
