Bought a new sofa, paid the $79 delivery charge and was told it would be in within 2-4 weeks. Came in super early which was great, had delivery set up (which of course can only be during the day, while my husband and I work) Well... all in all they delivered the wrong couch, we call to set up delivery again for the correct couch to be delivered, and the wrong couch comes again. Two, 4 hour windows wasted and they want us to set up another 4 hour window delivery time. My husband tells them that we dont have the availability to wait around for another 4 hour (during a week day) with the chance that the wrong couch gets delivered again. So my husband (who is MUCH nicer than me) offers to just pick up our sofa from the warehouse as long as they return the delivery fee we paid. So we have to load up the wrong sofa and deliver it back to them and pick up our correct sofa. The drivers also indulged us with the fact that there were multiple wrong deliveries in the two days that they attempted to deliver to us. If we didnt love the sofa, we would have returned it. Salesman Eric was apologetic but warehouse employees and other employees in the store were quite rude about the situation, as if we werent being accommodating enough for a 3rd attempt at delivery. I cant see us returning again. ** And now a week later, they still have yet to process our returned "delivery charge" Maybe my husband should charge them a delivery fee for loading up and bringing back the incorrect sofa back to the warehouse since they told us it was our responsibility to bring it back to them.

Kim, our salesperson is always so helpful and patient with us when it comes to picking out furniture, he is really great at asking the right questions so he knows what youre looking for, helping pick out fabrics, making suggestions, and hes also a very pleasant and kind man. Over the past few years weve picked up a few pieces, and hes always helped us. Im also writing today because all of the furniture that we ordered came in and our delivery guys were amazing! Weve been having horrible weather, we got a storm yesterday, and we shoveled the best we could but I was nervous because it wasnt perfect, first thing he said was "absolutely no problem, it is what it is today, and this looks great", they were fast, very friendly, and despite the salt and snow and mud really didnt make a mess. I so appreciated the experience of shopping with Suburban from beginning until end, I highly recommend them and Im sure that we will return soon! Thank you again, The Spadavecchias

What a terrible experience.. buyer beware!!! They are all up in your face when you walk thru the door, and there is no doubt that they carry nice items but when there happens to be a delivery issue - watch out! no one calls you proactively YOU HAVE TO CALL! funny how when they wanted my money they got it. I kept getting the run around - one date set then cancelled and so on. I finally got my furniture and no one called to see if I got it ok, was I happy? did they apologize for what happened to me,... NO! I am so upset.. I will NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! their sales staff needs to learn the basics of dealing with clients. do what you say you are going to do. be proactive, be honest and be real.

Avoid this place they are scam artists!!!! I brought furniture from this place two years ago with a warranty that was to cover any damages. I called the warranty company to explain the damages they said that the damages where not covered when I called the service number they told me to send pictures of the damages to see what they can do. There manager called me back and he could not do anything but return the money i spent on the warranty and said he would give a good deal on new furniture. I spent 1300 on the couches that lasted only two years and now he wanted me to spend more money in his store what an outrage. I would not recomend this store to anyone. Buy somewhere else you have been warned.

Great service, fast delivery. Very happy with my experience dealing with Suburban. I first used them for furniture for the waiting room in my office, then had such a great experience that I used them for a couch and loveseat for our home. The sales staff was knowledgeable and really helped us pick something that would work well for the space we had to work with. They werent pushy at all. The scheduling for delivery went smooth, and they showed up on time. Plus, I checked their pricing with some other competitors and they had the best price. And the other competitors said 10 weeks to get the furniture. Suburban got it to us in less than 2 weeks. Thanks Ken and the crew at Suburban.

Weve bought from Suburban many times. But its how a store handles customer problems that matters. We bought a bed that needed a repair under warranty. However, it broke again after the warranty was over. The cost was $89 for the part and $120 for labor. I spoke to the manager, George who, understandably, did not initially want to repair the bed after warranty. Making an exception for a long-time customer, however, he charged us only for the parts. Marty came to repair the bed and did a great job, actually adding supporting beams to strengthen the beds structure. We greatly appreciate their attitude and actions, and would undoubtedly shop there again.

I am thankful for the amazingly easy and joyful experience I had recently buying a Queen iComfort mattress set from Debi W. at Suburban Furniture in Succasunna. I was only going to do some window shopping that day but I couldnt pass up the mattress deal Debi showed me after I tried it out... and I am so happy I didnt. My new mattress is amazing and my sleep quality has improved significantly since getting it. From being greeted with Debis warm smile to her professional care and knowledge, to finding such a great deal on a quality mattress set, she made the whole process a dream come true... I am so glad I decided to stop at Suburban that day.

Its nice to see one of the few local furniture stores still going strong. And Suburban Furniture deserves it. Why do I shop there? They say what they do and do what they say. Fair prices. Great sales people...very helpful, and not pushy like at some of the big box stores and chains. Incredible selection. You get inside and cant believe the variety. Customer service is bar none the best I have ever experienced. The arm on my sofa was squeeking. They had it fixed within a week. Im not usually one to write things, but Suburban Furniture has always done right by me. Thank you Suburban! I wish you all the best in these tough times.

Stay far far away from here and dont deal with Scott he is a liar and cheat! I went in to buy my mother a Christmas gift trusted my sales man nice guy but still a sales man. The chair was on sale for $1000.00 from $1200.00 not bad but after I got home sears had it for $669.00 no problem they would match the price cool :) then told me they no longer had it in stock? After I was told it was and I could pick it up after 12:00 but after the price match it was gone and would have to be ordered Mmm I call BS! So I cancelled the order and got from sears. If you deal with them dont deal with Scott and do your homework first!
