Love love LOVE Whole Foods! The Paramus location is definitely one of the best ones because its huge and has everything. Theres a liquor section which includes so many different things that youve probably never heard of but want to try. They have hot/cold food bars as well as a bakery. Everything is super fresh and made on a daily basis. Personally, I love their sushi selection and the chicken tikka masala/vegetable biriyani from the hot bar. Itll cost you $8.99/lb for anything from the buffet area. Of course, it is definitely very expensive and most of us regular people cant afford to shop here for all of our groceries. However, if you insist on buying organic foods, youre going to get a much better deal here than you would in a regular supermarket as long as you stick to the Whole Foods store brand. Ive compared many popular, everyday items here vs. organic brands in regular supermarkets and the Whole Foods brand is definitely cheaper. Some examples off the top of my head are yogurt, bread, quinoa, fruits/veggies, milk, etc. Surprisingly, the alcohol is also very affordable, Ive bought bottles of wine for $3 on occasion.

This particular store is something. My wife and I had a lunch with my 3 years old daughter and then she went into store again to buy something. Right after leaving the store someone stopped my wife asking for a receipt for the lunch saying hes the "detective" for wholefoods. I wish I was there with her by the time it happened. It was like a scene from a bad comedy movie. Their approach and attitude were totally inappropriate. And when my wife proved she paid for everything she got she had to call the store manager HERSELF to tell the situation otherwise he wouldnt have bothered to see here. LONG STORY SHORT BEWARE! YOU MAY GET ACCUSED FOR STEALING FOR THE MERCHANDISE YOUVE PAID!! HOLD ON TO YOUR RECEIPTS LIKE THERES NO TOMORROW....

Had terrible shopping experience yesterday evening at this store...everything was normal until we went to check out. The cashier lady (I believe #8) was very impatient for no reason during the entire process. She mis-scanned an item for several times and took tons of time. Whats even more annoying was that she helped everybody else to bag the stuff, but refused to help us??? All she did was staring and rudely ORDERING the customer to bag items....unbelievable I thought Whole Foods holds high standard for customer service. But how come this kind of arrogant and unprofessional employee can qualify for the job???

Bathroom policy at the Bergen location (See photo.) is an insulting, patronizing, rude (and likely illegal) travesty that is a deal-breaker for me. In order to use the restroom, you must use a keypad to enter a code that will be located on your receipt AFTER you buy your food. No bathroom before you buy! Theres a word for that: Stupid! If you shop alone, you would have to take your food with you into the restroom!!! If they are that illogical and unwelcoming with their policies, they arent worthy to stay in business, in my opinion. Boycott.

The store overall is good. I shopping there regularly. My 1 star is a riot against new restroom policy. Now you need to buy something and then youll get the number on your check to enter restroom. I was there at Sunday (when public Mall restroom was closed) and my wife needed restroom due to her suddenly started monthly. so she went to restroom while I was shopping and realized that "no check - no restroom". We needed to wait until we shop. Guys, are you really think you made life of WF customers better with that policy???

This is my go to Whole Foods because of Sharod who runs produce, DeRon and Tristian in the meat department and quite a few others whose names Ill add to this later. Everytime I go here, we are laughing and joking. One pet peeve: When you go to Whole Foods and load up on the buffet, or the pastries or nuts and eat them before paying for them, thats called larceny and Im paying for it. Pay your way. Ive posted the price breaks on very good items: A non- hormonal rotisserie chicken for 7.99???

I must say that I have read some of the reviews and I indeed believe you. However, I must proclaim that Whole Foods Market has provided me the best services in the world when it comes to customer satisfaction. I am extremely happy with everything in the store. Yes, prices have increased, but they have nothing but the best and if you are not satisfied with something you can call them and they will reimburse you. I like the store in Edgewater, NJ more than Paramus, NJ.

High end and high priced super market with great fish, meat, cheese, produce and bakery departments. The hot foods and salads section has great stuff. Large selection of delicious soups. Nice coffee bar. Large section of tables to enjoy your take away stuff. Wouldnt recommend doing your entire weekly shopping here brcause of the high ptices. Inside the mall, which is convenient. Finding a parking place can be a hassle.

I like coming to locate but I have a bone to pick with Whole Foods because it is expensive store and they dont have a electric motorized cart that you can use without using the team member and its ridiculous the amount of money that you spend there and everytime I call and acquire about when theyre going to resolve this problem its always were looking into it and how much can you look into getting a motorized cart!

I was really surprised by how expensive and AWFUL the sushi was. They need to lower their prices with everything. My local farmers market is so much cheaper. With everything that is going on with the stores that they were caught overcharging,,,,, it looks really bad for them...thy need to do something about their prices NOW. Its a lovely store with friendly staff,,, but, really not worth it.

My first time there was to pick up a preordered turkey. They were a little disorganized/confusing as far as to the procedure for pick up but the staff was very courteous and apologetic. Meat department was efficient and ready to serve. I did pick up some lobster bisque soup for lunch but found it a bit too oily and salty for my taste. Overall, I really did like this location.

Yes its kind of expensive, but you know that before your walk in the door. If you are looking for cheap prices there are plenty of other options. The place is always full of people who prefer tons of options of quality food. Even if you arent buying groceries, you owe it to yourself to check out the food bar for lunch/dinner for a more than reasonable price.

At their location for the first time and their customer service was horrible. I waited on line for about 10 minutes before anyone said anything to me and while the two girls behind the counter, plus 3 to 4 more in front of it played around, danced, sang and talked about moves, ignored the customers and made them wait. Last time im going there!!!

Needed Fruit and vegetables, and bakery items. Produce is clean, neat and frezh, as slways. Bakery, however, is short stocked. Few in house items. Grab and go has empty shelves. 7 pieces of cake, only Pearl River cheesecake is sugar free. Only plentiful items are brought in. Few, if any pumpkin items. And this is also as always. .
