BE AWARE! I tried this shop in multiple occasions and sadly I will have to stop. Stay away from this place as they pose red flags everywhere. I am no expert but when you get a PRO Tune-Up for $69.99 you expect your bike to be ready to ride and not have to come back every time because they did a quick half job. Moreover; some of the guys that work there like to talk to customers in a condescending way always even complain about parts that were replaced previously when they themselves did it!!!. RED FLAG! I own a pretty new bike and take care of it very well never had problems; however since I started to bring my bike here there is always an issue right after. I don’t think they do it in purpose but I think they just do a half fast job and really don’t care. As much I like to support and give the money to a local shop I will never go back to this place. No sense of good customer service. Lack of interest in doing good business is absent in every possible way. I never give bad reviews but I feel ripped off since I have dropped there a few hundred dollars already there. Visit at your own risk!!! It doesnt even deserve a full star

The worst and saddest part of this shop is how their faulty service resulted in a very bad bike accident. I went there to have handlebars and brakes tightened as they were swiveling and not braking right. Wanting me to do do an expensive overhaul I simply asked to just tighten the handlebars. They said they did and then a few days later, my handlebars swiveled out of place for no reason why doing 15 mph. I ate it, bashing my elbow, having the bike twist and cut open my leg with the derailleur. I jumped up covered in blood needing stitches on my leg and elbow and an ambulance. A few days later I went to Vincents partner shop on Palisade in Jersey City. Explaining the accident the awesome mechanics there knew immediately whop at James Vincent fixed my handlebars and why they swiveled causing my accident. I let it go when Im sure I couldve sued or done something but now choose to go to the jersey city place or hoboken

It just so happened that the North Bergen store was the only store in the tri-state area with the exact bike I was looking for without ordering it. The clerk didnt even acknowledge me being there until he finished his 10 minute conversation on what he was going to do on his day off, then proceeded to tell me the price of $310 even though Haros MSRP was much less. I came back in 30 minutes and it was all together, when I asked him why the price was over MSRP he said the cost of shipping and to assemble it was expensive. So he basically took advantage of me since I told him my ordeal of looking for this bike. If I was able to wait 2-3 days I would have saved about $70 at 3 other shops. So to sum things up 1 in 4 people who submit reviews got screwed.

I have gone to this bike shop for yrs. But after the last 3 visits in the past 2 yrs I will never step foot in that place again! I went to ask them to show me how to use a portable air pump and the cock eyed fool that was there acted as if he was annoyed at my lack of knowledge with this air pump. I explained to him that I tried everything with the pump but it never worked. After he tried and tried it did not work for him either. I guess he felt stupid so he told me there's nothing they can do. Well there is something I can do. That is to never buy anything there ever again. They are horrible when it comes to customer service and they are not exactly cheap when it comes to there prices. NEVER AGAIN!

Poor customer service and very bad technical expertise. I have been there 4 times and each time it felt like they were doing me a favor by working on my bike, border line rude. One time the guy actually refused to do service on my brakes - he didnt want to deal with the mess! A shop that doesnt want business?? LOL. The breaking point was when they installed incorrect bearings in my bottom bracket. If i didnt catch the play when i got home - it would have chewed up my carbon frame on the trail. I will avoid this shop and will not recommend it to anyone. I am willing to travel an hour to a shop that wants my business and actually has the experience to recognize what bearing needs to be installed in a GPX BB.

Recently purchased a high end mtb bike. I couldnt complain on the deal I received that no other bike shop did. But this is about service after the fact. Sadly, the post sale service is sub-par. Like a previous commentator stated, bike goes in good, comes out half-ass. After a year of owning a high end mt bike, I decided to come in for a first free tune up. What did they tune up? Chain is still dirty, rear and front chain rings still have oil and wax build up, my expensive Fox float Re-activ shock now has a problem with the 3 position lockout function. Why bother. Buy a bike elsewhere because its the service that counts in the long run.

Bought a mountain bike there that I later found was much too big for me. The blonde kid fitted me for a mountain bike like you would a road bike. Way too large of a frame and not good when you need to jump off in a hurry. Later I went back to look for shoes and again he tried to tell me a shoe that was obviously too small would be just fine. Either he is horrible at fitting anything or he just wants to push a sale at any cost. Either way avoid this place if you are just starting out. They will take advatage of you! There are much better bike shops around. Only reason they get 2 stars is they are open sundays.

Dropped my bike off and my wifes bike off on Tuesday and went to pick them up on Thursday. When I went to pick them up they Did not start on them yet so they asked if I wanted to wait I said no problem. Wayne mentioned that they were shorthanded for couple of days understandably. Place looked busy when I was there. Well worth the wait the bikes came out like brand-new. They gave me a discount for waiting which I thought was really nice. Wayne was great made sure that I was taken care of. The guy that did the maintenance informed me that my brakes will need to be replaced soon. That was a good heads up.

Good selection. Bad attitude. I bought three bikes here and each time it was the same thing: The only reason I bought any thing here is because they have a full selection of Trek and Cannondale bikes. Better prices/taxes compared to shops in NYC and more stock compared to other retailers in the area. Although they arent the friendliest crew I have ever dealt with they are very knowledgable. They are condescending if you are looking at beginner bike but I believe this attitude is in line with most experienced cyclist so I wouldnt read to much into it.
