Love everything about this shop from the people, to the products they sell, to the service you receive as a customer. If you need a bike or board make sure Community is your first stop. Ive worked and been in many shops where sales associates are aggressive and try to up-sell you on everything. This is NOT that type of shop. They carry reputable brands that offer serious value and do their best to make sure you leave with a new ride youll be happy to own for years to come. Turnaround on repairs has always been quick in my experience and the work has been done very well.

Best experience Ive had at a bike shop in philly. WHAT A GREAT CHANGE NOT HAVING A BIKE SNOB TO DEAL WITH. ALL OTHER STORES SHOULS TAKE A LESSON FROM ROB AND HIS CREW. These guys are polite and professional and even offered me coffee when I first walked in. Cmon lets be for real, more businesses should be run like this by good honest people who arent trying to oversell you or make you feel dumb.

No idea how this place has 5 stars. They will sell you an expensive bike that is completely toasted after 3,000 miles while swearing its for commuters. When you bring it in and show them that the gears arent even close to being true anymore, the manager will lie and say something unrelated is wrong. Dishonest store overall, but its good if you dont care about quality products

This review is long overdue. I was so impressed by the knowledgeable, considerate, and attentive attitude of the staff. I was helped by a wonderful guy (his name escapes me but I believe it was "G") and I have to say it was definitely one of the most positive customer service interactions I have ever had. I would recommend this shop over any in Philly!

A perfect neighborhood bike shop. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and all around good people. The prices are reasonable and service is exceptional. I recommend Community Bikes and Boards to all of my friends and family. Also say "Hi" to Lou-dog while youre there.

Community knows how to take care of you. They listen to you, there is no bike shop attitude (welcome, since Ive been riding for 20 years and dont need to hear it), and really go above and beyond to make you happy. And also a great place to hang.
