When I placed my order they called me and wanted the phone number for customer service off the back of the credit card. I did not feel that this was needed since they had more than enough information on me and my credit card to process the order. Then the shipping was changed to “pick-up” in store when I live on the other side of the States. I had to call and get the fixed. I called almost 4 weeks later and asked about my order and was told that it was on the pallet for shipping and they needed to confirm the address again. Third time! They told me that time I called that it was taking so long because one of the items that I ordered was out of stock and they were waiting for restock. With everything that I have gone through with this company I would not recommend it to anyone. And I will not be ordering through them again.

About 2 years ago a friend took me into Wine Chateau to pick up a bottle of wine to bring with us for dinner in Metuchen. The store is large and beautiful, and I expected the prices to be a bit higher. Nice Store in a Nice Location! To my Surprise the prices are great! Later that week I compared Wine Chateau online prices to a warehouse liquor store. Wine Chateau prices were equal or lower than the warehouse. There is no reason for me to go out of my way to a dusty store, when shopping at the Wine Chateau is clean, has a helpful staff, and great prices!

Ordered a very specific bottle of gin - received vodka. I called customer service to advise them of the situation and was told "you were sent the vodka because the gin is not available. (I checked the website after the call and the gin is still being sold, even by the case). I was told they would send a shipping label out, and that was the end of the conversation. No apologies, no efforts to right the situation. Now I have to spend the time to package the bottle back up and send it back. Will not do business here again.

They have a very good selection of wine and other alcoholic beverages. The people who work there are awkward helpful and are always willing to explain something or help you find what you are looking for. They host tasting as well, but I have not personally gone to on so I cannot speak to how it is. This place seems more upscale than your average liquor store and the people who work there reflect that. I highly recommend shopping here.

The Wine Chateau, BY FAR, is the best liquor store I have ever been in! The store is clean and everything is easy to find. The staff is second to none! The owners and staff are very knowledgeable of the products they carry. I really enjoy stopping in, sampling a couple of wines, and purchasing either what I went there for or something I sampled and enjoyed. If I could give it "100 stars" I would!

Dont use this website! Horrible experience and poor customer service. Ordered a bottle of wine as a gift for a friend and opted to pay for 2 day shipping to make sure it arrived in time. Not only did the order never show up but calls were never returned and it took them almost a month to respond via email telling me the item was on backorder. Ridiculous.

BEWARE!!!! Ordered in stock wine online 2nd day overnight on 12/18/13 for Christmas. Scheduled to arrive between the 23rd and 24th. No communication from seller. After numerous attempts reached customer service on the 24th. They stated they did not even have the wine in stock as shown on website!!!!! DO NOT count on this merchant for your event.

This is my go-to place for shopping for wine. The Kirkland Signature wines at Costco are very good and cheap, but this is where you would want to find higher quality (and thus more pricey) wines. The staff/wine aficionados are very helpful and know a lot about the exquisite wines they have.

This is debbie. I was @ this wine place today trying to order nuvo lemon. Now Raj was very professional and very helpful. He educated me alot on the drinks. He was able to place an order on drinks that were not in stock @ the time and I received it just hours later. Tanks Maaaaaaaan!

First, I appreciate any place thoughtful enough to offer free wine tasting. Its worth the trip even if you dont live in Metuchen. I enjoy the environment and wine collection. 5 star for Service!!! No one can deny wine chateau prices are best in Jersey.

Great store! Amazing selection of wines, beers, and scotch. The manager, Greg, is very very helpful in choosing the best wine to pair with my meal or any occasion. Best prices in the area too! This is my liquor store of choice in the area.

This place is an enormous upgrade from the nearby old location. The new place, conveniently placed near BYO establishments, holds a wide variety of wine, liquors and beers, albeit few resources in hand when in need of expert assistance.

The best and largest variety of wine, but an even better selection of Bourbon than anywhere in the state of New Jersey. Their prices make the competition look like crooks. Very economical.

Has a good selection of beers (Craft and big brands), spirits, and of coarse wines. It doesnt have everything, but anyone can leave this place with something suitable to their tastes.
