This place is amazing! When ever I walk through the doors, I feel as happy as Nicolas Cage in "Leaving Los Vegas" as he saunters/skips down the aisles whistling his happy tune! It is a clean, well-stocked store with a great location. It is easy in then right onto Rt 287 to visit people down the shore or up by the gap! The staff has always been exceptionally helpful and brutally honest even when I didnt want to hear the truth about my "flavor of the month". And like it or not, they have always been right. The negative reviews Ive read are pretty baseless and immature. The woman talking about beer makes no sense to me, is that bad grammar or just your own vernacular because I cant understand what you are trying to say. And the "mark-up bourbon guy" sounds like you just want people to give their livelihood away by giving you free alcohol (do you understand microeconomics or not? This is a college town, take a class). And what was that "behind glass" thing? You think shoplifting prevention strategies are elitist personal slights against you? Check your ego at the door buddy. It bothers me when I find a decent place and it gets negative press needlessly. In all truthfulness, I travel past 6 other liquor stores closer to my house to go here. Tasting nights have introduced me to a world of quality products that I would otherwise never have given a thought to let alone actually buy. And I have had ZERO bum recommendations from any staff member about any of the wine, liquor, or beers in the past 7 months I have been coming here. For me, Bottle Republic is like the Home Depot of liquor stores with the family-like service of your corner bar! If you dont shop here you then you must have the mental agility of a dented dust pan.

This is easily the best liquor store Ive been to in a long time! Its huge and has a wide variety of pretty much everything you are looking for. The beer selection is amazing, you can go there and try something new everytime. The staff has been wonderful too. They give excellent recommendations and are very knowledgeable and helpful. They even have wine and beer tastings which are fun to go to! The store is so clean and nice looking. Its really the best liquor store around, I dont go anywhere else now!

Good beer selection, and they rotate it pretty well. So-so beer pricing. Some things can be found a bit cheaper, but not by much. The bourbon price gouging is what keeps the score low. Double MSRP on so many items. They also keep rarities there with insane mark ups well more than double behind glass like they want to let you know they are cooler than you or something, because nobody should ever spend hundreds more than msrp. They just want you to know they have it and you dont.

An amazing store.... wide aisles, beautiful decor with an incredible selection of beer, wine spirits and gift ideas that feels more like a shopping experience than a quick run to the store. It is so well organized though, its easy to find exactly what you need and leave, but you wont want to.

Excellent choice of craft beers and wines. The selection of micro brews and less common imports is really good. Very helpful and friendly staff. Sadly, while prices were competitive in the past, but some of my favorite buys suddenly went up by 20%. The prices are unchanged at other places...
