Many employees have an attitude, difficult to return an item -- been treated as if I broke the item and then tried to return it -- bad enough they only give credit or even exchange, but even with that, they put you through the mill about returning something that doesnt work! What happened to the customer is always right? I avoid this store as much as I can. Wouldnt mind paying their higher prices if they would just be decent with customer service.

I have always found the employees here to be very helpful and efficient. I use a rollator and have at times needed help and the right screw +nut to keep it going! My predicament has always been met with a"can do"attitude! Considering the cost of said items is about 2.00(I buy extras), They treat it as importantly as if I had spent a $100! However,I really love a hardware store, and often I find much more to get while Im there!!

What a bunch of jerks! Take the time to drive to a real hardware store. The customer service is awful here. Never have I been more dissatisfied with a stores employees. The owner of spotts hardware should see this as an opportunity for improvement. A bad review isn’t the problem. A bad review is the result of a problem. The real problem is whatever happened between your customer and your businesses that created that result.

This is a one stop shop for a lot of my creative needs. From: gardening, landscaping, crafting, painting, and fixing odds and ends; this small town hardware store can get the job done. I have never encountered an employee who was not helpful or couldnt guide me in the right direction. This type of relationship creates a loyal customer base.
