What a great store! I first came to George Press Jewelers to buy a watch as a Christmas gift. George, Cheryl and the whole staff were so helpful in selecting the perfect piece and making sure it was shipped to an out of state address in plenty of time. After purchasing this item, I went on their facebook page and saw a link to their blog post about gifts that guys love. There I found the perfect gift for someone on my list that is difficult to shop for - the Swiss Flash USB Knife. I was able to order it quickly after speaking with Cheryl, and he absolutely loved the gift. I have since returned to buy a watch strap for myself and a wonderful bracelet for my mother, again with top notch service and suggestions. I am looking forward to coming back to the store soon to see George and Cheryl and their gorgeous inventory! Thank you!!

Phenomenal Service: I called George Press on a days notice to make a necklace made for my teenage daughter who was starring in her school play about a strand of pears. And they made a gorgeous pearl necklace for me. The next day, I called because I needed something simple that the cast could chip in and give as gifts to the director and playwright. George created one gorgeous pearl on a strand (to go with the title of the play, "string of pearls" ). Not only were the gifts beautiful, but they were so nice about doing something at the very last minute. Each necklace was wrapped in a lush brown box, tied with a leather strip. I will always go to George Press first for reliable and kind service--and gorgeous gifts!!!

Weve been customers of George Press since my husband purchased my engagement ring there 26 years ago. They carry such beautiful things, and the great service and fair prices have made them our "go to" for all occasions. Our most special purchases there have been the custom pieces that George has designed for me and with me over the years, remaking jewelry that I had inherited but was not my style into things that retain their meaning but fit my life and taste perfectly. Most recently, he worked with my husband and me to remake that original engagement ring and wedding band into a gorgeous new set that I absolutely love wearing and that has all my friends planning visits of their own to the store!

George Press & Cheryl are wonderful to work with! I had a ring given to me years ago as a gift with my birth stone in it (opal). It has 3 stones and one fell out. This wasnt from their store, but they graciously replaced it for me and little did I know that George had to special order the stone. They didnt make a fuss about it and were just happy to get my ring back in good shape! I trust them with my jewelry, they have great lines, and they are just great to work with! I highly recommend them for repairs or new purchases : ) They have also helped my brother with a great watch for a birthday gift and also helped my mom update her engagement ring!! Did not have a good experience from beginning to end. When I called up I asked if they carried ESQ watchbands. I was informed they did. I brought my watch to Michael. He told me I would have it in a week to 10 days. I was quoted $70. Four weeks later when I call my watch was sent out to Movado without my permission as they did not have a band. NOW MY WATCH NEEDS A SCREW FOR THE BAND FOR $170 with band. RESULT - I was without the watch for 7 weeks, cost more than double the quoted price, and received it back without my minute hand working. When I wanted to discuss it with owner - HE HAD AN ATTITUDE. Employee was more of a gentleman than he was! Not the way to do business!

Astounded by George Press Jewelers’ repair service! This past summer I lost an earring that was extremely meaningful to me. Trying not to panic, I called George and his staff right away. I was worried that no one would be able to recreate it because of its unique style… but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I sent in my other earring and George made the match in three weeks! They did an unbelievable job creating the replica – the two look EXACTLY the same. I highly recommend going to George Press Jewelers. With his talent, jewelry selection, and service, I know I can always rely on them!

Love this shop! I came to George with my mothers (terrible 70s looking) wedding band, and asked him to use the materials to custom make a diamond band with a 1930s feel to match my antique engagement ring. What I asked for was difficult since the band had to be very narrow and shallow, and he did an outstanding job! I wear the ring every day and receive comments on how gorgeous it is all the time. I will definitely come back to him for any new jewelry for my family as well as any custom work I need done in the future. George Press is a true artisan!

Its unfortunate when owner, Cheryl, makes promise to followup but doesnt. I feel taken advantage of; i paid $3,900 for a bracelet that retails $2,200 on their own website! I validated the diamonds as exactly the same. I wont return.
