J Alexander Fine Jewelers has real jewelers on the premises, unlike most chain jewelry stores typically found in malls, and the only thing better than their excellent custom work is their very excellent customer service. Here are pictures of my custom engagement/wedding rings set done by J Alexander and their sister store, and of a custom diamond Initial necklace they made for me. They also customized some pieces of inherited jewelry for me, using diamonds from some pieces I inherited (and did not wish to keep) that they set into other pieces I inherited (which had no stones), one of which (the Star of David) is also pictured below. The last picture of a very unusual piece is a necklace with a pendant containing a fire opal and druzy with both natural (textured) and polished (smooth) portions of the same piece of druzy.

I have know John for about eight years! He is one of the most upstanding men I know and the business he and his sister have created is amazing! Back on January my husband purchased a necklace for me during a trip to Scottsdale AZ. The pendant is a Padparadscha Saphire (orange) and not easily found. Without me knowing he asked J Alexanders to find a matching stone and design a one of a kind ring to match for my 50th birthday. Needless to say I was speechless when I saw what John was able to do! Friendly staff, beautiful store and a wide variety of jewelry. They have a price range to fit anyones budget. Store credit card makes large purchases easy to pay off and its (interest free for a year) Free jewelry cleaning and verbal appraisals. They truly offer any service and it is family run! I wont go anywhere else with my jewelry!

My favorite place! Such an amazing selection of jewelry. I go in there for costume jewlery gifts for $5, and John and Alexis have made some of my favorite custom pieces! Also they take care of all my timepieces. I wouldnt bring my watches anywhere else for repair and service. A+++
