I walked into rook, wanting a normal $15 gift card, I got the gift card no problem. When I returned to my car, I noticed that the gift had been used. The gift card was not only scratched but had black sharpie scribbled out and the amount $2.75 written on it. I went back into the store, wanting a new card. When I told and showed the cashier my gift card, her response was "I know, there is still $15 on it, you can still use it" I was baffled, I told her I would like a new one since it was used and also that it was a gift. A few minutes later I walked out the door with a normal $15 gift card. Never again.

My wife treated me to a lovely Nicaragua coffee when she came home from her internship. This is the best coffee I have EVER tasted! Thankfully, theres another Rook near our home that Ill likely visit soon, but I had to give credit to the first location that "converted" me over!

Previously to becoming an employee I was always taken care of and greated with a smile. The best part was going there to complain about life and get a cup of joe! The staff is the reason i applied (and the coffee), and im happy to be behind the counter with them!

The wait times are brutal even is you text ahead. They do a really good job -- cant really fault Rook, its the busiest intersection in Lil Silver. The coffee is worth the wait though.
