I have a prescription of -4.00 in each eye. i have been wearing glasses since 3rd grade and contacts since 8th grade. after college, my contacts became increasingly uncomfortable to the point where i couldnt wear them for over 10 hours a day. I did some research and i found out that i did not qualify for lasik because i had thin corneas, however i did qualify for PRK. i went to Dr. Goldberg to get a quote ($4000 total for everything including all drops and all post-op visits). I had my surgery on Feb 26. The surgery itself lasted less than 10 min and it was Dr Goldberg and 3 other technicians in the room. It went by very fast and was weird but not painful. I would say there was discomfort for approx 3 days after but they give you numbing drops which did relieve the symptoms. My eyes were very light sensitive for the first week especially and its been gradually getting better. The vision was pretty blurry the first week as well (i had the settings on my phone and computer all the way up). After 1 week, i was 20/30 in my right eye and 20/40 in the left, so legally able to drive. Its now been a month and my vision is close to perfect. So although PRK has a much longer healing and a very gradual process, i am very happy with the results. Dr Goldberg is a nice guy who answers your questions thoroughly. I thought he was great and very professional. The staff is also great and super friendly. Overall, very glad that i did it.

I had Lasik with Dr. Goldberg in 2015 and could not be happier!! My vision is now beyond perfect! I read 20/15 in both eyes and feel as if everything is in HD! Dr. Goldberg and his entire staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in the door. I felt comfortable immediately and their knowledge about the procedure put me at ease right away. I"m so glad I came to the Atlantic Laser Center for my LASIK surgery, I only wish I had done it sooner!!! Dr. Goldberg is truly a brilliant surgeon.

My Mother just left Dr Goldbergs office in tears. She went there because he gave her the wrong prescription for eyeglasses until her eyes healed from his surgery. He was screaming at her and would not let her get in a word. His 3 nurses were making all kinds of excuses for him. My mother was shaking so bad from this horrible experience, because of the way he treated her she will now find another doctor to treat her
