I placed an order for a pair of glasses on Friday morning and added a note with the order. As I was leaving on a trip in 2 days I also called to make sure they had everything they needed to complete the order; I got voice mail even though it was was during business hours. A week later (when I was able to see my email again) I saw an email from them asking for 2 pieces of information - one was something they could easily get from the glasses I sent in, the other was what I had put in the message with the order and had called and left a message about. I called first thing Monday morning and again got voice mail; I left another message. I called 2 more times that morning before a person actually answered the phone; they had not filled my order. To say I was upset would be a gross understatement. Those were my most recent glasses and I needed them for work. Now, I not only didnt have them, I didnt have my new prescription either. To make things right they offered to rush them through the lab and send them to use via express mail. I thought rushing them through the lab was a no brainer, but to send them via anything other than overnight was unacceptable. (The processing on the glasses was going to take several days as they were progressives with transitions and crizal coatings.) They said they couldnt do that. They totally ignored the message I sent with the order, they didnt answer their phone during business hours on 2 separate days, they did not return any of the 3 voice messages I left and they gave up a $439 order because they refused to overnight the finished glasses to me to make up for having them a week and doing nothing with them. To add insult to injury, they mailed my frames back using first class mail rather than Priority mail. Thus, to get new glasses in a timely manner I was forced to purchase new frames from the other company I chose to make my new lenses.

I ordered a pair of Polo glasses from Lenses Rx. I received my glasses this afternoon. This is my review: 1) I gave them 4 stars because the glasses are good quality and the lenses seem to be good quality lenses also. The prices were really good. The glasses shipped quickly. But... 2) I dont like Lenses Rxs system of trying on glasses. They send you a try-on pair but only after they have charged your credit card for the entire glasses. Other websites have made it easy to try on glasses by sending 5 at a time. Maybe Lenses Rx has their reasons for not doing this, but to me its strange. Especially because buying glasses online can be difficult. 3) Adding to the difficulty is the Lenses Rx website. Some websites you can sort by frame size but you cant do that there. Also the filtering system is just not that intuitive. You click on certain brands and it changes the entire filter settings, etc. That needs to be upgraded. 4) The customer service seems to be OK. They have always answered when I called and when I asked them to change a shipping address over the phone they got that right. I did call once and the woman I spoke with was a little snappy. But like I said they answered which is 90% of the battle I guess. I gave 4 stars because of the quality of the glasses, they shipped on time, and the pricing. If they fixed the things above-especially the try-on policy-Id give them 5 and be back to shop again with pleasure.

I ordered a pair of sunglasses on July 25, 2015. It turns out they did not have the frames in stock as they stated. I tried to find the order confirmation # the day after placing the request and nothing was ever emailed to me. The representative stated that due to their server emails couldnt go out to my Comcast address. She then stated that MULTIPLE voicemails were left for me asking what I would like to do with the order due to their inability to have the frames until the end of August. There was not not a SINGLE voicemail left for me nor did I receive a call from the number she gave me. So after 6 days of not hearing anything I called to find out my order was cancelled and it will take 3-5 business days to process the refund to my FSA card. Unreliable, poor service, and not worth the couple of dollars I would have saved by using another vendor. Steer clear of these guys!

I cant give 5-stars only because i ordered fand paid for a pair of frames that werent in stock and it took several days for them to notify me. In my opinion, they should not process an order and make me pay for frames that arent in stock. However, I opted to reboot and sent them 2 pairs of Warby Parker frames that I liked after doing their home try-on. Needless to say, lensesrx did a good job with my progressive lenses and Ive got 2 pairs of glasses for a fraction of what I would have paid through an optometrist. Be flexible. Be willing to wait. All in all a good experience minus the initial misstep on the out-of-stock frames. It might be worthwhile to see if they have what you want in stock before placing an order.

Ive ordered two pairs of glasses. The first were fine and arrived in a timely manner. The second pair came two weeks later with no prescription lenses in them. I called and was treated rudely. Once I sent the glasses back, its taken almost a month and I have still not heard from the company. Ive called and left a message but after the last time I left two messages and was treated rudely, Im sure I ether wont hear back or will receive the same treatment. SO many other companies out there so I wont waste my time on them again.

I had LensesRX convert 3 pairs of existing prescription glasses to non-prespcription sunglasses. Their price was excellent -- better than anyplace I found -- and service was good. (Most places wont even deal with your existing frames.) LensesRX total turnaround time -- from the day I shipped my frames to them, cross-country -- was less than 2 weeks; it could have been less had I been willing to pay for express service. Packaging and quality of work were also excellent.

This is the worst customer service ever!! I dont usually give reviews but just had to on this one! Im spending my money an Im being treated very rude!!, if you dont like your job that is not my problem, ladies you need to brush up on your manners or BTW received two pairs today and cannot see through them, going back might just get a refund cannot deal with this company.

I made my first eyeglasses purchase online and decided to try this store. I was amazed at how professional and helpful their call center people are. Overall it was a great experience and I even bought glasses for my kids a few weeks later. No problem at all, shipping was fast. Ordered on monday and the glasses came USPS that saturday. A+ good job.

I placed an order two different times, for two different items and they didnt have them. Then I had to wait for several days to get my money back. Calling customer service is like calling heaven! nobody answer
