This place is great. I average a new pair of frames every 2-3 years and have done business with opticians in NYC, but I am so happy with the service here that I may be a lifer. The staff is super helpful and strives to find exactly what you are looking for; and if youre not sure (which is often the case with new glasses) they will guide you in the right direction. I have worn rimless Ti frames for 4 years and wanted something new that they described as "geek chic" - within minutes the staff had selected a few great pairs of frames. The prices were amazing - with my VSP I got a vision exam for only $10 and an awesome set of Bvlgari specs (including incredibly thin lenses, anti-glare, the works) for around $300. The service is great - Kimberly and Shaleen are both amazingly attentive & incredibly sweet, and Dennis gave great advice, even suggesting I order my frames 2mm smaller to better suit my face. They remembered me by name when I dropped in unannounced a week later to pick up the order. The doctor was nice too - he was a bit goofy but very friendly, and the exam was quick and painless. All in all a great experience - check them out!

This is the best eye doctor / vision store Ive gone to. Every employee is friendly and super helpful. They actually remember you and go out of their way to help, and for me that makes all the difference. I order my contact lenses from here and their prices are very fair. When I compared to some other places such as 1-800-Contacts, their prices are the same or even less. Every time Ive ordered them theyve come in overnight and I was able to pick them up the next day. These things along with their great service and the convenience make this the go-to spot for me.

Ok, so first of all, please consider the location of this establishment. They are based in Jersey City’s Exchange Place. This is a middle class area. So if cheap is what you’re after, you’re better off going to Walmart or Costco. The place is neat and tidy. The people are very professional, appointments can be made at very short notices and you will usually get reasonable rates with a decent insurance plan. Will definitely recommend!

They sold me women frames and after I tried to return they said it was nice n-refundable after 30 days and the Oakley lens were used because they were bent - Black Raspberry Oakley - I was this big over-sized goon... Extra steroids but very feminine fruity mofo - then I was charged $350 they stated anti-glare but I had s few places verify it was a plain RX lens...

I was conned into buying contacts through them. I said that I thought my insurance covered contacts completely and the guy said no. Later I checked my insurance and Im covered completely as long as I get my contacts through the insurance company. The guy kept this from me because Im sure he gets kick backs for selling. I will find a new eye doctor.
