I hate to leave a bad review considering almost everyone Ive met at this store was so nice but Ive been to this location 4-5 times over the past year and every experience was far from stellar. I can almost never find an employee that isnt on cashier duty to help even with walking around the store for 10 minutes, the line to check out is 10-15 minutes minimum but my biggest complaint is I bought $60-70 worth of merchandise and I wasnt paying attention bc my 2 year old was having a meltdown (not the stores fault, I get that) but the cashier scanned a spool of a $10 ribbon 3x when I only bought one; so overcharged by $20. When I got home later and noticed the error, I called the store and spoke to the manager. She apologized but could not do anything about it over the phone, saying that if I came back in with all my merchandise and the receipt she might be able to fix it. That would be fine except I live half hour away and I dont want to drive another hour round-trip. Any other store would be able to do this over the phone. I guess this isnt the store for me.

I am an avid Hobby Lobby shopper but sadly I will never return to this store at any point in the near future. The people that work there are nothing but rude and inconsiderate. Every time I ask for help the associates act as if Ive inconvenienced them and quite frankly Im tired of it. I already contacted their corporate office about two months ago because of an employees refusal to order a product for me which I found unacceptable. If its that awful to work there, maybe people should leave instead of making customers shopping trips miserable.

I loved my experiences before today, but sadly I will go to the South Planfield store for now on. I asked about a particular item on sale and the checkout person replied in a snotty tone, "they never go on sale because I am in charge of the art department." It was on sale as per their site and when I reached out to their care department. Maybe this person didnt want to be at the register who knows. Thats it for this store.

As much as I disagree with this companys ideological stances, I cant fault the store. They have literally everything here, and most of it is on sale. On the off chance you find something at normal price, you can get 40% off by using a coupon available on their website once per day. This place is really in a whole different league than AC Moore and Michaels.

I was looking to buy a model rocket as a gift. I thought this would be more like the typical hobby shop, model cars, airplanes, etc. This was more of a Michaels or A.C. Moore craft store. They did carry model rockets though. I did like the store, they have a very big selection of craft items.

I walk around in this store for hours. The music they paly is amazing. They seem to be short staff often. Only certain people can do returns. They often have so many promotions that sale associates have difficulty distinguishing the discount.

Incredibly clean and organized, which is like a unicorn for craft stores. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the selection was good (definitely better than most of the nearby craft stores).
