First, I am not a person who likes to complain. If I am no happy with a product I just stop buying. This is the first time I write a bad review in my life. Second, I am a loyal costumer who probably spend 5,000 on this store every year . I wont complain on the item because i have been getting this for a long time and this is the first issue. I bought a case of beers and opened 4 bottles; 3 out of 4 were fermented. It made my stomach sick. Then i decided to put aside the case and returned it to the store. When i got there they said it cant be returned because i already opened the case. My question is: How can i know is bad without opening? The answer was they can not sell it or get credit if it is open......in shock! If I say they are fermented and it is not open then they are capable to sell it to another customer? Unbelievable!!! I got so mad i told the person in charge that the case was a gift from me to him ......and left leaving the case in the store....I am not sure if it is just a wrong policy or the worst customer service ever!!!

In desperate need of new management!!! Again I walked out, only 4 registers open and all packed with people with full carts, here I am with just a few items....Why is the quick few item line never open here! Dont have enough staff? Put in a self check out like Paramus has! Old post below - hoped it got better. Unfortunately not! Bring a book to read in line as you wait! Express line is ALWAYS closed and theres very few cashiers open. Even when lines get long, managers rarely care enough to open another register. Guess they dont value their customers time! If you need just a few items I suggest driving out of your way to Paramus or new Kearny location. Thats what Ill be doing from here on out, this place never changes and Im here weekly, correction - I was here weekly. Good luck if you decide to come here!

The tire service is terrible in east Rutherford nj. I needed to repair only one tire and it took an exorbitant amount of time...more than 3 hours of just waiting. There is just one person selling/fixing tires/ answering phones and customers questions. Its ridiculous. They hardly answer phones so its impossible to make an appointment to try to shorten time. Even asking a manager for help is useless, they do not respond. Its very upsetting.

Customer service people are not friendly at all. Something about their management must be off as well because they always have different workers. I have unfortunately bought spoiled milk twice from.them and cheese as well oh and not joking we have even bought meat that was no good. .so i now stay away from.buying refrigerated things. We do like that BJS OFFERS LATER SHOPPING HOURS THO.. SO 3 STARS TO THAT!

Come here all the time!!..like this location better than the others Ive ever been to... but today as we were walking out the man at the door checked our receipt as usual and then asked to see in my babys diaper bag!...I let him see it because I didnt want problems but what if I just had my purse? Are they checking purses too??..I dont know made me feel awkward because it never happened before....

It is my favorite BJS in the area. Even thought I have a Costco very close to my house, I still come to this BJS. The prices are most of the times good. I can find everything Im looking for. On the downside, it has the slowest cash registers. They have available 26 register, but most of the times they only open less than 10. Creating a chaos by the registers.

One of the largest, if not the largest BJs Wholesale I. The area. Can be pretty crazy on weekends, but its pretty large so you dont feel overwhelmed. Pretty decent collection compares to other BJs, they also sell alcohol (wine and spirits) in addition to beer which is a huge plus. Will definitely come back.

I had a great experience, i purchased a wireless speaker and didnt have no space in my car and I didnt want to lose the sale on the speaker, they were able too hold the speaker until the next day for me, I was really appreciative. They were great. Thank you guys

This is the worst shop in USA I have ever seen. When you drive into the parking you will agree with me. The parking lot is like garbage bag. And the shop looks extremely dirty. I will never go this bjs location again. I would prefer shopping at jersey city bjs.

Ill say this BJs is one of the busiest in the country. Theres many varieties in the store. Thats why I rated 4 out of 5. Hope they would have more cashiers taking care of people when checking out. Should have more employees cleaning the parking lot and inside.

Excelent prices and good selection of groceries. I started going for the babys formula (big size great price) but now I gotta every week for all the daily use things that I buy on bulks. Like milk, napkins, toothpaste, cereal, etc.

Unbelieveable! Just purchased a YoCruch of M&Ms and Oreos and without realizing, it was sealed with just tape. When I got home, the box was missing three cups of yogurt and there were only Oreo cups, no M&Ms. Really disappointing.

I wish I would have looked on the BJs website instead of google for their store hours. Today was employee appreciation day so they closed at 7 instead 8pm. I wouldnt have driven all way here not cool.

So far I have had no problems at this place, The only thing I can say is some thing there are set to expire in a week or so. So be careful when you purchase stuff like, cake, bread, etc.

Excellent location. I come from NYC to this BJs mostly because its the only one I know that sells liquor, but also the prices are hard to beat the the cashiers here are quick.

Every time we come to this BJs after 7pm is chaos. They open 1 or 2 registers and the lines are long 30 minutes wait. Im considering canceling my membership and go to Costco

Aside from no one speaking English, people WITHOUT babies parking in MOMS WITH INFANTS PARKING SPOTS and always ridiculously crowded.....it serves it purpose, I guess.

It has everything you need. But beware this place when its busy you might be here for a whole trying to pay and leave. So check to see if youre going at a busy time.

To get goods in bulk its good. But if u need electronics better to find other place. They always keep at least 3generations old items. No update of newer products.
