Manager was quite impatient with my mother and I. Many of the employees/solutions experts were not focusing on task and chatted with their coworkers instead of helping customers. I cant believe how unprofessional everything was dealt with. I called customer support to assist me with something and I was instructed to go to a Verizon store after they changed some settings in my account to help me with my problem. So I went to the store, upon entering the store and asking for help with my problem the manager could not process my request; she simply said "welp, I cant help you; call customer support". After telling her I came to the store based on the instructions I received from customer support she [the manager] continued to repeat "call customer support" and did not provide me with a solution. Although my problem was resolved somewhat by another solutions expert in the store, the general attitude I received whilst in the store was one of impatience and disinterest. I cant believe Verizon trained support is so poor.

I never post reviews, and this is the first review Im posting due to the horrible experience we had with the manager at the Verizon store at 314 Route 18 in East Brunswick, NJ today (08-21-2016). I own a chain of high service and high sales retail stores, and today I had one of the worst retail experiences with the manager on duty at this store. I have over 20 phones on our account at Verizon and the manager rudely hung up on me and would not help us because he was overwhelmed in the store with customers. We asked him to help us call Verizon Service to provide him the access he needed to assist us with our large account, since he couldnt access our account with my employees at the store. He refused because he was too busy and then hung up on me because " he had to go help other customers". Verizon service is often challenging but I never had a Verizon Associate treat me and my staff like this.

The sales makes FALSE CLAIMS regarding discounts, fees and offers to customers. And when the charges show up online, they dont add up (turned out to be $30 more per month than what he promised). And when you go back to him about this, he said he made an "honest" mistake and there is nothing he can do about it, and he pointed out that he didnt consult anyone else including his manager last time. So Verizon and his manager had plausible deniability and everything was reduced to an "honest mistake" on his part. At that point, the contract was signed, the phones were bought. Oh and hes not a new guy. Honest mistake, really??! The lesson I learned from this one is that no sales can be trusted, no matter how friendly or harmless they may look. And do not give the benefit of the doubt, because in this day and age, that is a luxury.

AVOID THIS LOCATION I have never dealt with such rude individuals in my entire life. They kept trying to sell me products even when I told them I wasnt interested. They ignored me and kept drawing pictures on a pad while I as asking questions. I just wanted to order a phone and after 30 minutes of dealing with them I still left without getting a phone. The manager was so fat he couldnt even get off the chair to talk to customers when they requested his assistance.

From my experience on a Thursday [keep in mind] service was fast and helpful and went very smooth sailing, from the other reviews it sounds as if the manager is ignorant and service sucks on other days, also the staff is very pushy if deciding just to browse. If going to this store I only recommend going on week days if possible and only to buy / fix something with that thought already had. If you want to browse go over to best buy.

I tried to returned the junk of accessories my wife was pressured into buying. It was unbelievable. The Managers got involve and insulted me. I finally returned everything. A heavy set customer care rep with long hair then tells me that the Sales People have to sell the junk to make their quota. So we really do not need the junk but Sales Rep need quota. Thank you for your honesty.

Good staff , but they make it very uncomfortable to even just go in and look at phones and accessories.. I just want to check out the latest.. I dont wanna converse while I look.. they hover over you its annoying, they say can I have your cell phone number... For what!? Im just looking at cases... And Ive been with Verizon 15 years as on Oct 10 2016. Before it was even called Verizon!

Literally a bunch of incompetent people. Wanted a 64gb s6 edge, gave me a 32gb and realized after I got home. Purchased insurance and the guy said ok and filled out the forms. I go back now about a year later since the phone barely holds a charge and theyre saying no insurance was purchased and it would be no less than 300 to fix...what a waste of time and money. Thanks for nothing.

Employees are really slow here, had to wait over an hour and a half for service when 4 people were on line ahead of me. Would not honor the warranty on my phone, my phone stopped turning on and they told me my buttons were missing so they wouldnt replace phone (all buttons were there). Went to Verizon in Menlo Mall (Edison), quickly and efficiently had problem taken care of.

This is the third time in a row I have had a terrible experience with this location. I would highly suggest you go to another location at all costs. They mis-represented phone options, they failed to service the accounts after the upgrades and today they could not complete a simple process of moving activation from one phone to the other. Stay away from this location.

If you are having any problems with your phone, please do not waste your time waiting in line and then being rejected from the customer service representatives. The store is unhelpful and will not go out of their way to assist you. Call the 1800 number and talk to a representative. They assisted my needs within 5 minutes.

The tech that helped me had no idea what she was doing. She couldnt be bothered with looking into my problem with my phone. Turns out the Verizon support over the phone is way better and determined my phone was no good and I needed a new one. Maybe this store should hire people who care!!

This is the first time Ive left a verizon store completely satisfied and fully understood what happened through the whole process. Thank you Winnie for being so sweet and patient. Im giving 4 stars because Ive had pretty normal customer service here.

I cannot wait to end my contract with Verizon !!!!! The rt. 18 store is THE WORST !!!! They dont even try to help you. Ive been to other stores and received better service. Ive never dealt with such a _ _ holes in my life !!!!!!!!

Just went to this store this evening and it was a huge disappointment. Not professional at all. Rude, cursing in front of kids -- Felt like I was in the mall T-mobile store for a minute. I will not return for sure.
