Most importantly, the employees I talked to care about the animals above all else, and it seems like they only hire people who love animals. Second, the employees were welcoming, friendly, and generally courteous to a degree that is hard to find in most retail environments anymore. Its obvious by the simple fact that I was shopping just before they closed for the evening and not once did I hear an anxiety- generating announcement to hurry up and go to the registers, like they have in almost every other store. The cashier chatted with me and by the time I got to my car I realized it was ten minutes after their posted closing time. They had a healthy collection of products, more than Ive seen elsewhere, and were stocked with quality pet food. The lighting in the store was less harsh than petsmart and noise didnt seem to echo as much either, making this a good choice for people sensitive to that kind of thing.

Took my dog Kole (American Staffordshire Terrier) to get groomed today Feb. 15th 2014 @ 12pm. We were in the grooming section waiting to be checked in when my dog Kole went go sniff another dog and got bit in the face and drew blood! They refused to groom Kole after that, yet they still took the Boston Terrier that bit my dog. All they did was give us 3 different excuses as to why they wouldnt groom him and gave us $5.00 coupon and told us to come back another day because it was adoption day! Will never go back to Petco of Cherry Hill! I put call into their cooperate office and the better bureau. They took a dog agressive dog back into their facility and put other dogs at risk of getting bit!

Just left the groomers .. waste of my damn time. Felt like the groomer didnt want to cut our dogs hair (cockerspaniel). Complained the hair on the ears were too thick to cut with her precious scissors.. which Im assuming are plastic scissors?? There policy is to not muzzle the dogs. Dont take your dog here unless you already washed them first.. because they act like its too hard.. They should of told me this BS before we set the appointment. Never shopping at Petco every again. Go to PetSmart.. they actually work.

I went there looking for a dog house and all went well. It was 30.00 cheaper online, and they said I could order it on their iPad if I wanted, but I needed the dog house right away so I paid the extra. Service was great. I was greeted at the door. No issues except the price difference.

Superior to petsmart by far! The employees happily brought out guinea pigs, birds, kittens, and a bearded dragon for our kids to pet today. Each person had a great attitude and interesting knowledge about each animal. Highly recommend.

Great dog trainer on staff, great deals and events!! Love the mobile vet they are cheaper than clinic prices. Everyone is knowledgeable about most pets. Dog trainer is very experienced and very very patience with my puppy.
