Nastiness..13 year customer..since their early days across from Swains with cute little white maltese. Stopped by shop yesterday about lunchtime to pick up hostess gift.. The place was empty but for 1 couple looking at the soaps..they told me about a soap they had at a hotel that they wanted to replicate..I told them it sounded wonderful ..It am currently undergoing chemotherapy and it has effected my sense of smell...from my missing eyebrows and lashes to my bald turbaned head and steroid swollen face its pretty obvious to see. I asked the couple I sure would like to get something like that and would love it if they would let me know so I could get the same..They said of course..Two sales clerks on duty the salesman comes over and talks to the man and invites all back to the fragrance bar....the mans wife stays behind looking around the shop...The clerk and man talking proceeds to mix a fragrance and offers it to the man to sniff,he does then to me..,I politely sniff ....then he turns around to remix and adjust to the customers input and offers another sniff..,.I go to sniff too and clerk asks me was I looking for a soap or gel. He assumed that I was the mans wife and when I told him that I and the man were not together I was just going to get whatever he was getting...WOW!!!The. Clerk gets all pissed scolding me ...you need to wait your turn...I can only do 1 customer at a time...I didnt know what to say and just stood back stunned....Then the customers wife joins him at the bar and clerk invites them both for a remix sample....the wife unaware of my recent scolding turns to me so I could get a sniff, I just waved my hands away and LEFT! I FELT SO EMBARRASSED....When I went back to my house in the Crest I went online to read reviews and felt a bit better to see that I was not singled out for the nastiness and read all the other reviews about rude service because after patronizing them for almost 13 years I never experienced something like this incident ..Leah was always so nice...I never see her in the new store so maybe she sold it when they moved locations ...I then went throughout the house and threw out all the Bath Time products..the room and linen sprays,the shower gels,lotions and cute little soap dishes as well as a cotton bathrobe so I will never have to be reminded of this place again....And by the way..all of the prepackaged soaps and dishes...lotions, robes, towels, bath hooks can be found on Amazon much cheaper..Before this experience I didnt mind paying extra to support this local business...Sad

Very pleasant experience! I have been there three times over the last 3 years. The man working on the custom fragrances was very patient as I sampled and adjusted my preferences. It is really neat that you can select and combine your favorite scents. I bought my girls the same mix of frangrances they carried in their wedding bouquets. Nice little shop!

Such a cute shop! There is a counter at the back of the store where you can customize bath bombs and soaps. Very cool! Perfect place to find gifts for family and friends
