One of the worst service experiences I have had in a while. I brought my Tag Heuer F1 for a battery and seal change 7 weeks ago. They said they could not do it in the store and gave me the option of sending it to Tag or their service center. They said Tag will want to do a full service but their center will be able to do the battery and seals and have a quicker turnaround. I decided to go with their service center with a promised 2-3 week turnaround. They call me after 5 weeks and say their center wants to do a full service and wants twice as much for it. I told them we had spoken about this before sending the watch out - they gave me some excuse on the phone. I asked them to just get my watch back. Two weeks later its back. I picked it up and they charged me for shipping and "service". I will never go back to Sherman Jewelers again and dont recommend them to anyone. They used to be good when they were in the Bridgewater mall, but now I think they are just waiting to run out of business here at Somerset circle. While I was picking up my watch, another lady was picking up her watches and they had forgotten to do some work on one of them. Dont go to them if you value service.

TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS.... I brought a watch in for a new battery, the salesperson said there was something wrong with the watch and it had to be sent back to the manufacturer, charging me $25 for shipping cost. 6 weeks later they call and said the watch needed a total overhaul and it would cost $375 to fix so i declined and asked for the watch back which took another 6 weeks to get ugh. went to Saunders Jewelers in Flemington who took the watch into the backroom replaced the battery and seal for $15 and it now works good as new.

The selection is above average, but at a cost. The service highly outweighs the selection making for a very unpleasant experience. If you dont mind the attendants muttering under their breath and shaking their heads at every request, this is the place for you. There are many jewelers with comparable selection in the Greater Somerset County area but with at least acceptable service. Good luck shopping.

I just bought myself a Rolex from Sherman & Sons and I had a truly wonderful experience! Maria is such a nice person and she knows how to take care of her customers. When I told her I would be coming in the next day to buy myself a new watch for my birthday, she had balloons and a birthday cake waiting for me! They also gave me a great price. They have earned a lifelong customer!
