Im the owner of Cash Converters in Brick NJ and I would like to reply to Kay Corlione who obviously must love gangsters because her name is fake and is taken from the godfather movie. Also since she thinks I look like Pauly Walnuts she must be in love with me. Anyway here is why you must be careful listening to reviews. Here is the tru story of what happened with this customer. its a long story so stay with me. Her husband came to pickup a TV he put on layaway. One of my employees accidentally gave him the wrong TV which was double the price. I called the gentleman who by the way was a very nice man and explained what happened. He said no problem I am right around the corner anyway and never took the TV out of the trunk and didnt even realize I had the wrong TV. He brought it back 15 minutes later along with what appeared to be a very drunk wife. As I was keying in the transaction the wife was obnoxiously saying she should get the better TV for no charge since she was inconvenienced by having to disconnect it and bring it back. I said thats funny your husband said it was never taken out of the trunk and was right around the corner so someones lying. She had a terrible nasty drunken demeanor and I said how about this get the f out of my store. Yes I did curse which Is not right but I deal with druggy Drunks and lowlifes daily and I dont play well with them. Yes I also lied about the TV saying it was stolen to motivate them to bring it back. We treat great customers like family but If you come in disrespectful yes your in trouble fuggetabout it.

THEY SELL FAKE ITEMS FROM EBAY AND REPLICAS AND SELL IT TO YOU FOR YOUR MONEY AND SCAM YOU. NO RETURN POLICY! THEYLL GIVE YOU SOMETHING BROKEN THAT THEY MADE SEEM ITS ALRIGHT BUT FALL APART WHEN YOU LEAVE THE STORE AND GUESS WHAT CANT RETURN IT!! HALF THESE REVIEWS ARE FROM THEIR FRIENDS NOT CUSTOMERS CUZ ANYONE THAT IS A CUSTOMER WILL SEE THERE THIRST AND GREED FOR MONEY. THEY TOLD ME TO MY FACE IF YOU WANT TO SELL ANYTHING HERE YOU NEED TO KNOW WE ARE A BUISNESS SO WE CAN BUY YOUR 150 DOLLAR BIKE ONLY FOR 40 SO WE CAN SELL IT FOR 150 AND MAKE MONEY! I WISH THEY GET CLOSED DOWN! AND MY WORST TIME THERE WAS A COUPLE DAYS AGO WHEN I BOUGHT A "NEW" PHONE FROM THERE AND WHEN I WENT TO ACTIVATE IT FROM MY VERIZON THEY TOLD ME THIS IS A STOLEN PHONE AND I SAID NO ITS MY FRIENDS AND I WALKED OUT AND WENT BACK TO CASH CONVERTERS AND THEY WOULDNT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK.. AND IT WAS ONLY 3 HOURS LATER.. THEN I CURSED THEM OUT AND THREATEND TO CALL THE POLICE AND THEN THEY SAID THERES NO NEED HERES YOUR MONEY.. THEYRE TOTAL SCAMS.. MOSTLY THE OWNER BRAD.. I SHOULD OF CALLED THE POLICE AND GOT THEM CLOSED DOWN! THE NEXT DAY BRAD SHOWED UP AT MY DOMINOS AND I TOLD HIM GET THE F*** OUT OF MY STORE.. AND HE SAID ILL BE BACK. I WISH THERE WAS A NEGATIVE STAR RATING HERE CUZ THEY DESERVE NOTHING..

I went in to sell a Wii with some games and accessories. I wasnt expecting much, I just wanted to unload some stuff no one had touched in years without having to deal with selling things online and shipping stuff, etc. When we walked in, a nice employee at the front told us where to go to sell things. We went there and three (I assumed they were employees) were sitting at a desk. They told us someone would be there to help us in a minute. They started to argue about lunch and pizza, etc. After about twenty minutes, one man went around and called for an employee to come back to help us. We waited another ten minutes. In that ten minutes, the same man told the other two that he had just taken a Percocet (really? With customers there?) and they continued to argue over pizza. Finally, a very nice employee came to the back and we explained we were just looking to get rid of stuff. He wanted to know what we wanted and shot down first 100, then 75 and then we just gave up and asked him what he would give us for it. We walked out with 50 bucks and one less pile of stuff in the house. It wasnt bad, but I probably wouldnt go there again unless I had another batch of electronics that I didnt feel were worth the time to put online and ship myself.

I was just recently there and purchased a TV...came home only to have the store call me back and tell them that the police were there and the TV they sold us was HOT and asked if wed return it. So...back we went, after a long day of work and out of our way to do the right thing...so naturally, I asked, if they could give us a better deal on another TV for our trouble...it was then the man behind the counter started cursing at me using the F word...calling me a d-bag and to get the F out of his store and to never come back again. Not once did I antagonize him or lower myself to his level or use of profanity. I probably should have known better than to deal with anyone affiliated with a pawn shop...they are barely, if at all, one step above criminals themselves. Shame on that disgusting man for speaking to anyone like that...especially a lady...his mother must be very proud...Id say his wife must be too...but Im sure with that attitude...theres NO WAY he has one! Disgusting human being! The type of guy whos name is probably something like Pauly Walnuts, wholl most likely end up in some Jersey landfill some day! Thanks for the amusement Pauly! Youre a real class act!

You walk into a huge floor thats empty. My friend went in and sold 3 pair of sunglasses to a tool w blonde hair. First, it feels like your walking into an interigation room or hes a wanna be cop or bounty hunter. Theyve wallpapered their bad sales to advertise to the world. Second, 3 Maui Jim glasses. My boy did the research. 2 of their baby beach brand. 1 was gold frame brown lense and then another pair. Retail the baby beach is 219.00 on the low end. Usually 299.00. The others on the low end was 250.00. He walked in excpect 25 percent of the low end and had all the prices from every site showing he did his homework since he collects them. Guy could have made 700.00 easy. 750 to 800 if he sold in store or eBay but he didnt want to negotiate at all. He was scum. He made up a price, refused to say where it was coming from and said take it or leave it. Thats cash converters. I wouldnt be surprised if their funding weapons in Syria to terrorist they are so shady

Very nice staff, except for the black gyy making racial comments twords white people" oh another idiot white boy". untill I bought a Xbox 1 elite. The box said everything included. I get home and theres no head set. I call and ask them to please give me the missing piece to my set up. They said they sell it as they buy it. The box said everything included. They told me head sets are only 15 bucks, so I ask to be reimbursed that 15 bucks. Head phones cost 25 and up. They said if you dont like us dont come back. I called my bank . Put everything on hold. Worst humans Ive ever encounterd. Lost my business forever. Up yours brad, all I wanted was my moneys worth. Also he lies about what your products worth. Dont shop there. He sells his used items at retail price.
