I like this place. I mostly come here to grab a dinner for my second job because my first job is very close by. I often get a sub out of indecisiveness and its right there when you walk in. However, the bread for the sandwiches is VERY VERY HARD. I peel off the crusty outer layer before I bite into it. the first time I ate a sub from here, the bread was so hard my jaw cracked. The inside of the bread is fine, but the crust is so thick and hard its unreal. I like a nice crispy outer layer but wow! This bread is crazy. I thought maybe I just got a randomly hard one, but no, Ive had a few subs from here now and thats just how it is. Im assuming it has to be stale or left over from the night before, which is disappointing because the subs there are $8! Pretty expensive, but everything else is quality, so Im not complaining. I always prefer to pay a little bit more if it means what Im getting will be better.

Nashua NH is the nicest Hannaford in the chain as far is what is in the Greater Lowell/Southern NH area. The prices are very comparable to Market Basket these days, so no sticker shock at here. If we chat about the comparative levels before the 2014 boycott, this discussion would take a different tune. Theres some prices that are higher; but theres still quite a bit that are lower as well. Store brand assortment is also better at Hannaford, which means that I am buying store brand more often, so arguably as someone who wants a bargain for a good quality basket of groceries, I walk out with a lower bill here. The quality of what youll get is very good; the only place in Nashua that will be better is Whole Foods (but of course you will pay more).

5 stars to the teen who had to put groceries into the trunks of peoples cars who went through the drive up service in the heavy rain without any rain gear. To the customers who feel they are too good or too important to do your own shopping and then sit in your car watching this young man get soaked as he put your groceries in your car. Shame on you. I think the service is great if your disabled and elderly. But out of the 4 cars waiting in the rain. For him to load their groceries, not one had a handicap sticker and all looked to be in their 30s and 20s. Just sad.

this used to be my go to place- then the deli got slower and slower- its now the slowest in town. today I went in to get a roast ground in the meat department (I never buy their pre-made hamburger). I got to the meat counter at 4:30. After waiting for 5 minutes for someone to come out from the back 9theres no bell or buzzer) I was told that they "closed down for the day" and I couldnt be helped. at 4:30! this is a SUPERmarket?? Since I am not a vegetarian, I am giving this place a rest. No more Hannafords for me!

I wouldnt go to Hannafords except that my mother has prescriptions there. The teenage clerks couldnt get a "thank you" out of their mouths if their lives depended on it. All I ever get is "here you go." Ive heard that parents are to blame for not teaching their kids any manners but aside from that, shouldnt the store manager step in on this one. Its odd, the teen clerks in Market Basket dont seem to have a problem.

Sorry to see the midnight closing time a thing of the past. Alot of second shift workers that used to shop there after work, and couldnt during their construction were looking forward to the grand re-opening and midnight closing. Now we are forced to go to Wal-mart if we want to shop after work. Surely not the same quality as Hannaford, but I guess the extra hour to stay open was too much work.

This location is always a bit crowded, but it is still a fantastic shopping experience. For a large supermarket, they have a cozy atmosphere. They have a prodigious selection and you can find almost everything there for a decent, though slightly higher than one of the alternatives, price. Finally, the staff are attentive and polite.

Decent market but seems like indicators of what is in each isle is not angled for best visibility. Great selection though, attentive staff. Is ALWAYS busy. Throughput needs to be more expeditious. Great cheese and meat selection. Wine prices a tad high but again good selection.

Prices are mostly comparable to other chains. Good selection offered. Complaints: Deli staff is slow to wait on you, and they often dont pay attention to you. Baggers need further training! Most times I have to tell them to bag chemicals or other non-food items separately.

Out of all the supermarkets around, I LOVE this one. Its clean, has a good atmosphere, and has a good selection. The clerks seam a bit shy sometimes, but thats ok with me. I just want a nice clean place to get my food :)

Love the fresh food you can have made. I get their stir fry all the time. Marie (I believe thats her name) is the sweetest lady and makes the best stir fries! Very welcoming and friendly

I travel to this Hannaford when I need to utilize the online ordering and parking lot pick up service they offer; "Hannaford To Go" is great for busy moms who can use a little break ;)

Excellent overall. Self checkout machines are very reliable and convenient. My only reservation is that it can use a bit wider gamut of nonfood grocery items (like what Shaws offers).

Store is always clean. Staff if friendly and helpful. The quality of the meat and produce is worth spending a bit more than at other local grocery stores that have lower prices.

Pricey for the competition. An okay selection, but always a very long wait to check out. Even express lanes take at least ten minutes to get through.

Huge modern grocery store, with a great variety: organic, GF, international, etc. Probably the best selection out of any grocery store in Nashua.

It is so easy to find what you are looking for. You can buy from one piece of fruit or veggie to a bag. Bakery frosting is the best in the area

Great store with great service. Their online ordering, Hannaford to go service is fantastic! Not even a comparison to Market Bucket.
