I live 10 minutes from this business. I needed a service they offer, and before driving over there, I called - the woman responsible for the service refused to even tell me she was capable of this job, then put the manager on the line - who repeated what she said and hung up on me. Besides prices that are inflated beyond all competing suermarkets, even the manager is beyond rude - and the manager sets the tone for all employees - which is obvious. Neither my wife nor myself will ever shop at this location and will avoid any other Stop and Shop since the corporation is responsible for employing such incompetent, customer-hating employees. I also am relaying this complaint to my 52 employees who will in turn relay this information to their friends and families. Businesses invite crushing competition that behave like this, as well as scrutiny of those in corporate that hire them. Boycott this store and use the other markets near them.

The prices at Stop and Shop (with the store card) are generally lower than the other grocery stores in Acton. They have a great produce section and often have ingredients needed for certain ethnic dishes. Their store made guacamole is one of my favorites. They use technology to speed you on your way. At the deli you can place your order electronically and then stop by to pick it up when you have finished the rest of your shopping. There are also 4 self serve check out stations for small orders. I have never experienced a wait at the self serve. Many of the employees dont seem to be happy ... not all greet you with a smile and more importantly some work slowly.

This stop and shop has horrible management..store manager very disliked and controlling to his employees and disrespects them 2 he is very up tight about a lot of things..sometimes rude to his employees...... grocery dept is the best I've seen so far grocery manager very nice..otherwise after the remodel they had it turned out to be very nice and good looking store Im glad I can see it from the road now

Lousy selection, couldnt even get grapefruit juice! Shelves are frequently understocked. God forbid you would want anything remotely upscale. They should close this store and maybe the vacuum would entice the competition to put a real grocery market in there. Please, please....Roche Brothers...listen to our pleas!

I find it easy to find items at this Stop and Shop; the people who work there are very pleasant and competent; and, they always have all of the staple items that I need week to week.d I love being able to buy some flower/veggie items for my garden/yard here in the springtime for very reasonable prices, as well.

Only really practical supermarket I have uet found close to east Acton, shelves are understacked with products you want and full of those you dont want, signs are confusing... employees do help a lot though and the parking is fairly empty lots of the time. Donmt bother going there if there is something closer

Go to Roche Bros. in stow, much nicer store, better selection, fresher foods, nicer cashiers. Theres one cashier in Stop & shop in Acton, hes older than the kids working there, guys a total ass. hes bad for business, big mouth, talks real loud so everyone hears him.

Prices are a bit high.but i find myself going to see what is on clearance its always something worth the trip.friendly staff always helpful and good worker to bring in carriages clean lot and store.

Its a good place with people who are willing and nice enough to help you out. They definitely stuck to their sections, which can be good or bad. Have had everything I have gone to look for, so far.

Nice selection of meat and produce. Still think the prices are a bit on the high side. Only shop sales here. The self checkout is a joke the machines look like they are from the 80s

place never has what you want or that is on sale. Open up a few more registers instead of having to stand in line for ten minutes

Every time I get fruits and vegetables they turn out to be bad. Nothing is in good shape, food quality is very bad.
