We have recently moved back into the area. Because of no credit history, my husband was having a hard time getting any type of loan for a car. We stopped into Second Car Center after reading some reviews and met Adam. He was fantastic. He told us about their credit program and told us which cars we would be good looking at. We ended up driving a cute little car that we never would have looked at. We loved it. He then walked us through the process of applying for the loan. Yes, were paying a high interest rate, but we knew going in that we would. Everyone at Second Car Center was fantastic. They explained everything clearly, and walked us through everything and never once did they make us feel less than worthy of their time. Thank you so much to Adam, Pete, Mark, and Marie. We feel very fortunate to have found Second Car Center! UPDATE ON FEBRUARY 1,2014 So, weve had our little Saturn for just barely over a month now. We had one niggling little issue with it....the service engine soon light kept coming on.We called Pete and he said bring it right in. Checked it out, put it on the computer to get a reading and reset the light. Just try it out and see if it comes back on, could have been a lose gas cap. Great. Off we went, a day later...back on. Bring it back in he said...Ill order a cap for it. Put on new cap...few days later...back on. Bring it back in he said, we did and he kept it over night. Gave us a loaner....it needed some new part so they needed to get it in. Then while they were looking the discovered a leaking water pump. They replaced it. No problems. PETE IS FANTASTIC...A SUPER STAR in our book! Not once did he ask us for cash (we dont have a warranty). Just super! We went to Second Car Center because we needed help with our credit...and we could not be more pleased with the service weve received! Theyve stood behind us...and well definitely give them our business again! IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF A HELPING HAND FINANCING A USED CAR....DO NOT HESITATE CALLING SECOND CAR CENTER! They are wonderful!

I went to Pete on recommendation of my mother who lives in his area where my accident happened. Big mistake. After he decided he wasnt going to work on my car, i tried to get it towed out of his lot so another shop could do the work he wouldnt. He went along with having the tow company come out and waited until after the tow truck showed up to all of a sudden balk and refuse to release my car because the insurance company hadnt paid him yet. Its fine if he needed the payment first, but he lied, pretending hed release the car until after the tow truck showed up to screw me over. He could have told me when i told him i was ordering the tow that he wasnt going to release it. After my mother went down to his shop and talked to him, he ultimately did reimburse me the money he screwed me out of. He also demanded I take down this review so I wouldnt cost him business. Thought he could scare me off by threatening to sue me for telling the truth. Not happening.

(copied from my Facebook review because I dont see a reason to change this) Ive been taking my cars to Second Car Center for well over ten years and theyve worked on four of my cars over that time. Ive always, and I mean ALWAYS, found them to be both affordable and reliable. I had a lot of trouble with other auto shops who would either overcharge or do work that wasnt needed; its really been a huge benefit to me that I know I can get a car up there and that theyll get it done right. Sometimes Ive needed one of their loaner cars; they usually have one available and that makes life a lot easier too. If you call them, just ask for Peter - hell take care of everything. Theres also a good convenience store right across the road thats good for snacks while youre waiting :D

Mark (Salesmen) is a great guy. He was the first salesperson (male or female) that spoke to me like a human. My first car purchase was with them. When I needed another car, they were there. The real gem is in their garage. Pete should be nominated for sainthood. He is very honest and truly caring. After a car accident they didnt have a car on the lot that I was looking for. They reviewed my perspective car and Pete gave me all I needed to negotiate. He also make sure to let me know the value of my car that was totaled and how to work through that process. AMAZING!

I waited a month after buying my car to write my review. These guys stand behind their cars and their word. They offer an outstanding service and I feel safe buying a car from them. I know that any and all issues will be handled with patience and professionalism. Their inventory is filled with great cars that are backed with even greater service. I couldve gone with any of the other dealerships on this road, but Im really glad I went with the guys at Second Car instead. Thank you! Ill be coming back for years to come!

This is by far the best car experience I have encountered. They were extremely helpful and easy to work with. Very flexible. Dale took outstanding care of us, was patient and was dedicated to getting my husband into the vehicle he loved. The owner Peter, I cant speak highly enough about, he was friendly, felt like we knew him forever! These two took very good care of us. I also want to thank the service team for a fast turnaround time in servicing my husbands new truck!!! Keep up the great work!!

This is a review for the service part of the business. The owner/manager is a really good guy and straight shooter. He always manages to fit us into his schedule, even on short notice and his prices are reasonable. On a number of occasions hes presented us with a few options in terms of repairs and replacement parts and recommended to us approaches that were significantly cheaper than others. The guy knows his stuff and does right by us.

I called Peter for a replacement water pump for my 2001 Dodge Ram Truck, he gave me a price that no other repair shop in Derry came close (Cheapest Price) and he also gave me a next day repair drop off schedule. I am a Vietnam Veteran and these guys are just great for auto service. I will go to Peter for ALL my service needs as I have 3 vehicles in my family. BEST IN TOWN!!!!!!!!

My dad bought my first car from here, a used car. I have driven it for 4 years and every time I have needed repairs, I always go back to them! Peter and the guys are so friendly, and timely with the repairs. Most importantly they are HONEST, and always do right by the customer! Outstanding service. I bought my Subaru here and absolutely love it. They fully serviced it before I got it and I have had no problems at all. I went back about 2 months after I got the car with a headlight out and even when I tried to pay for the repair, they insisted on taking care of it for no charge. Great attention to their customers.
