I think I just got insulted for the first time just now because of the color of my skin.... SMDH...Ive lived in American almost 25 years and Las Vegas 19 years...but today at the "Sieu Thi Than Phat" Asian Market on Spring Mountain and Decatur...where I always shop and buy my fish... I was stopped and asked for my receipt.. Now I certainly understand policies..Im well educated mind you....I was asked for my receipt to look in my bag..i was well like ok.. and I walked on ..I looked back to see if she was checking other people to my dismay she was not... So I turned back and said may I ask why you checked me...she said store policy..I said well why are you not checking anyone else behind me...she preceded to state it was her job..I said thats well understood but why..was I the only one you checked...only person of color...she continued with its my job thats what I get paid for...I was so upset ...I walked away.. I did not want to start a commotion so i just carried on.. I have been trying to contact the number on the receipt no answer..it suck how much this crap really is still happening in this day and age...

If youre white and want to come closer to understanding what its like to be on the receiving end of racism, try this place out. The employees and even some patrons eyeballed us the whole time I shopped there with my mother and her friend. The cashier was almost comical as she did her best impression of some typical manga girl with her constant smiling and giggling with the other customers. As soon as we stepped up though, it was a different story. Stone cold expression, almost intimidating. While she checked us out with no emotion, another customer even tried to move our stuff over on the counter so he could cut in. Just a bunch of bullies. On a lighter note, the food is good. The green curry chicken I made for my father was great! It was my first time making it and he loved it.

Well, if you want "fresh" fish, this is not the place, I dont regularly trust butchered fish, but I certainly dont trust some tilapia at the bottom of the tank, agonizing... and a +8hr dead white bass floating upside down by a dirty filter , from a nasty watered tank; if that is fresh, I would wonder what the "freshly" butchered silk snapper/gold snapper/ hamachi, etc. Are Ps: I rate 1star, cause I cant give no stars.

Its close to home..Its an Asian Market.let me tell you something..If you have never been off in one go just to explore the many different varies of fruit Veggies etc....It really amazed me the first couple of visits ...There is a lot of foods I still couldnt tell you what they are or even what you do with them...LOL!?!

Dude this again market all employees look hella hostile cashiers seem to never smile almost as if there brainwashed reminds me of that north and south Korea documentary I havent stepped foot in there eversince

Amazing place, supermarket of everything you will ever need for cooking Asian cuisine. Great produce area, great seafood selection, and most condiments that you may ever need. This place even had balut!

If you like shopping for Chinese food, this is a great place to go. Fantastic selection and very reasonable prices. My wife is Chinese so she likes to shop here.

Wide selection of Asian foods and decent prices on veggies. Easier to get in and out than 99 -Ranch. Only downside is checkout is slow.
