At first the experience was great, spent a good amount of time putting together the invitations finding exactly what we wanted. We added all the options and came to a total price, my first thought was this is a little more then expected, but hey its a one time occasion why not splurge. Very nice people work here but I think it can be a little disorganized, so with that in mind I would highly recommend if getting wedding invitations here to have an itemized receipt that is clear between both parties. Upon picking up my invitations I was very excited until I realized they total was about 100.00 more then we agreed upon. Also Im almost positive I was over taxed. Im very happy with the final product but this put a very sour taste in my mouth for this business, also I was unable to prove this because I was given no type of receipt even when I requested one. Lesson learned, ask for an itemized receipt.

I LOVE this place.....have been going to Alligator Soup for over 25 years and have never been disappointed. Their thoughtfully selected and artfully displayed merchandise is perfect when you are tired of seeing the same old, same old in every Hallmark Store or Mall in America. I always find unique greeting cards that include heartwarming to risqué fun......and now that Marriage Equality has finally come to all of the country, check out the amazing selection of Same Sex engagement and wedding cards. Alligator Soup was carrying them for many, many years....not just jumping on the bandwagon. Helen the owner is very sensitive and creative in any custom invitations or other printing needs. This is truly a hidden gem in Las Vegas.

True professionals. I went in with my fiancé shopping for wedding invites with a vague idea of what we might be interested in. Hellen not only helped us define our style but helped us find the perfect invite. It is true that the invitations are more expensive than what you can buy online, the quality and professional help was unparalleled and well worth the cost. Not only did we get stunning invitations (I have had countless guests calling and saying they are the most beautiful invitations they have ever seem), we also had help every step of the way in writing and preparing our invites to be sent. Hellen is a dream to work with as a bride.

This shop, with its unique merchandise, never disappoints. Helen and her wonderful staff need to be visited to be truly appreciated. And give yourself extra time to browse even after you find that one incredible, perfect gift. I have visited Alligator Soup and all its various locations (only one now) over the 26 years I have been in Las Vegas, and have always found the most marvelous ideas, presents, cards, and fluff! I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone who is tired of the mass produced and ho-hum sundries. Alligator Soup rocks it!

Alligator Soup and Helen Edell are fantastic!! I could not be more happy with my experience and my wedding invitations. The store is adorable but most importantly Helen is genuine, knowledgeable and kind. I cant express my gratitude enough. I originally only planned to purchase invitations but will be going back for programs, place cards and thank you notes because Helen makes it so easy!!

This place is so neat. If youre looking for the perfect invitations or other paper card product this place has it all. They had one made of thin wood! So nice looking. The ladies that work there are extremely helpful too.
