If it was possible to rate with no stars I would. Dont get me wrong, when I first started going here my family and I would receive excellent service and always recommended this place to everybody that we knew and would run into that were in need of any services for their bikes. My wife would even recommend this bike shop to her customers when they would purchase a bike from her store. But lately, since they have moved to their new location, we have received extremely bad service. My youngest son and I were involved in a hit and run a couple of months ago and had to bring my bike in for a major repair as a result of the accident. There were problems when it came from the bike shop to begin with and my wife had picked it up on her way home from work, now she normally doesnt ride it so she had no idea what is "normal" and what isnt with my bike. I ride a 29" bike and she rides a 26" bike so as you can tell its totally different for her to ride mine, so she left the details of anything that might still be wrong to me when she brought it home. When I later called them up about a couple of things I noticed still wasnt right with it they told me to bring it in as soon as I can and they would correct any problems that had to do with them fixing it in the first place. Then today as Im riding down Warm Springs, pulling a Carrying Trailer with 2 kids in it, I switched gears and my Derailleur broke completely off at the Traffic Light at Valle Verde and Warm Spring heading the Fox Ridge Park. I immediately called the Bike Shop up and explained what had happened and the person I talked to said, not a problem and to bring it in because it should have been replaced when the Accident happened a couple of months ago. When I got up there after finding a ride, I was told by a man claiming to be the Owner;"YOU NEED TO GET THE H*LL OUT OF THIS STORE AND DONT EVER COME BACK . YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS CAN GO ELSEWHERE". Now, I know in the State of Nevada, any Business has the Right to Refuse Service, but they have to have grounds to do so (ex. "No shirt, No Shoes, No Service"). I would not recommend this place anymore. Brain is the only person that seemed to know what he is doing and it sounded today like they are trying to get rid of him to just like a lot of their customers.

Amazing Customer Service and a Amazing Owner!! I found the Bike Shop with some word of mouth and the occasional drive by to and from home. I had always wondered what Id find in the store and how Id be treated walking in not knowing really much at all. On my first visit I was quickly greeted by Terry and asked what he could help me find. I explained I was looking for a low end road bike to get into and never once was I pushed into another direction. Terry was great at explaining all my questions and didnt make me feel out of place with not knowing much about cycling. I ended up leaving the shop that afternoon not making a purchase however with a great deal of knowledge given to me by Terry. The next day I returned with an extremely used Frankenstein bicycle that was thrown together from someone on Craigslist. I had decided to take an alternative with a smaller budget to get into my new hobby. Terry was at the store once again and he was again extremely helpful to me with my Cobbled bike of parts. What was also great is the fact I was remembered and called by name! Terry took great care of me with all questions and outfitting me with all the gear I asked about. I also appreciated the fact I wasnt being pushed into super high end items that I really wouldnt benefit from. I was extremely surprised when my bicycle was taken so they could install all the accessories I was going to purchase! This is something I would have never imagined and I planned on doing later that afternoon when I got home. During the installation of my peddles, the employee working on my bicycle noticed there was a part on my bike that seemed out of place. On a closer examination, it was clear I had an issue and this was shared with Terry. Terry and his employees once again blew me away with the customer service and the replacement of the part free of charge. The bottom line is Ive found an exceptional store with an owner that truly believes in great customer service and going above and beyond. I will be a life long customer and when Im ready to make a purchase on my next bicycle, it will be at The Bike Shop!

The shop is more suited for the expert biker. If youre just a weekend warrior and you dont know much about bikes I would choose another place. I have given the store two opportunities to beat the Internet. The first time was for simple bike rack. After walking around the store for a good minute and watching what look like very skilled workman who didnt want to take his eyes off the bike to say hi...I left. The second time was to get replacement brake pads. This time the nice young lady greeted me and found the only set of brake pads available in the entire store. I also looked for a bike rack and found maybe 5 on display and all were too pricey. Bottom line if you like to go to the bike store and talk about bikes for hours upon hours with the staff then this is your store . if youre new to biking and you really need someone to guide you through the process of getting new brake pads or adding a basket or whatever you might want to just try Walmart or target. I believe the staff there would be way more helpful.

When you are on the east side of town with your bicycle the "Bike Shop" is one of the best locations for immediate assistance. It is west of the Windmill & Pecos intersection, and its new building expanded the space for their showroom and Mechanic work space. Eye Gear Sports Optics, is the place I would suggest for Sport Optics in the Vegas Valley. They are also under the roof of the Bike Shops new building 2630 Windmill Pkwy. I have used them for both my computer glasses, and my prescription cycling glasses. This location is truly a cycling place you can trust.

I trust these guys about as far as I can throw them. I took my bike in to have the hydrolic brakes replaced. Long story short I ended up with mechanical disc brakes that ended up costing just as much as the hydrolic disc brakes I wanted in the first place. Apparently this is because of additional parts and hidden fees that were never discussed... even after I asked multiple times what my TOTAL bill would be. I do not appreciate paying twice as much for something I didnt even ask for.

I found this place by googling for bike repair shop. It had a great rating so I called and explained the problem I was having. They told me to come right in. When I got there everything was done so quickly in such a friendly manner. And the service was great and not expensive at all. I actually dont know how much usually cost to fix a bike but I was surprised for the price. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who owns a bike that need to be fixed or need to buy one!!
