I usually cut my Great Danes nails myself, but decided to try the Green Spot nail trim service. The first time my dog came out from the back, I couldnt even tell that anything had been done. I let them know that I couldnt tell that anything was done and the other gal working agreed and took my dog back to the groomer for round two. I stood around the corner and heard my sweet dog cry out TWICE! Her nails were still quite long, but I appreciated them trying to right their wrong. I later requested a refund b/c I was not satisfied in the least with their service. WOULD NOT REC GOING HERE FOR NAILS, BUT DO LOVE THE SELF SERVE BATH, FRIENDLY STAFF, AND VARIETY OF PET PRODUCTS AVAILABLE.

I started buying raw food for my two labs there last summer. The employees were really friendly and helpful. The last few times Ive gone in there the employees are not friendly at all. I asked for help because they were out of the food I was usually getting. I had to interrupt her and her coworker friend talking and she was so annoyed about it I ended up just leaving and going to another store that sells similar food. They are younger and that seems to be pretty normal now for the younger people to be like that but still the manager should train them to at least act like they are helping and then they can go roll their eyes at their friends later. I havent been back since.

Grooming: horrific experience. We thought wed try this as it is closer to our house than our regular groomer. We took our Scottie in for grooming. When we picked him up, he looked like a Schnauzer. They cut off his entire "skirt", shaved his legs and cut his beard short. We were just sick. The response? Oh...he was too matted. Of course, we dont agree as he looks like a Scottie when we pick him up from ourr regular groomer. . Be that as it may, their huge mistake was not calling the owner to say they couldnt (or wouldnt) give him a proper cut. Instead, they altered the entire appearance of the dog without asking. I used to love this place, went there all the time for my dogs grooming and supplies. But dont know if its cause of all the new staff but the staff isnt as nice and friendly as they used to be. When I call to schedule a grooming appointment they always seem annoyed that I called and half the time the individual that answers cant help me and just takes a message, so I usually have to call twice to make 1 appointment. Also when I go into store to buy stuff they used to be so friendly and wanted to help, but not so much anymore. Half the time they ignore you.

Of course my puppers is allergic to about everything under the sun. With this high maintenance doll of mine, I am always on a quest to find new ways of getting a healthy diet in. I came in armed with a TON of questions, and was given full attention and tremendous help by the staff. It was very comforting and I felt confident I was making a good decision. I was warned prices were steeper than normal. Not the case at all! They even gave me samples to try of various other brands of the type of food I was looking for. Experience was top notch. Yay!

Aside from their nail service the prices are much much higher than competing stores. Just up the street on center, Long Dog Fat Cat has the same sizes and brands of dog food for $10 less, as well as several different treat varieties I buy for much less. I asked the staff about it and they didnt seem to care. Also, no selection on shampoo or conditioner for the self wash which was disappointing and left my dog very itchy after. Staff has always been friendly.

They are always friendly, and great with my dogs. I recently rescued one of my dogs from the Humane Society, and he tends to be a bit skiddish in new places. They are gentle and caring with him, and he always leaves happy! I love the variety of pet food/treats/toys they have available, and that they have a lot of local products available as well! I recommend them to all of my family and friends. It really is a wonderful local store :)!

I love the cat and dog products we have bought for our pets. The gals at The Green Spot are always helpful and knowledge about about natural ways to care for our pets, which work in tandem with our vets directives, or sometimes have even replaced items from our vets office that are full of chemicals. In particular we have a cat with diabetes and a dog with allergies. Great rewards programs and monthly specials, too.

My dogs and I love The Green Spot! Low prices on high quality food/treats/toys, the self wash bath is awesome, the staff is friendly and I love their little lounge for trying on harnesses and adopting out foster dogs. Suki is probably the nicest person in customer service I have ever talked to. She, and the rest of the staff, are very knowledgeable about nutrition. I cant imagine shopping anywhere else.

Prices are very comparable to other specialty pet food stores in the Omaha area. Their reward program beats all the others. $5 off for every $100 spent plus alot of their pet food brands offer buy __ get 1 free. There is one lady in particular there (sorry, cant remember her name) who knows alot about animal nutrition and is very helpful.

Highly recommend this place. Absolutely the most helpful and kindest staff I have ever met. We brought Peanut and Cooper to have a self-groom bath. I am overwhelmed by the gentle, caring from the staff to the dogs and also to us. Plus they have organic dog treats and food, grooming supplies, cat food, collars and so much more.

Took my fur baby in for a bath in the self serve area. It was an awesome experience, staff was so helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this place, it was the start to her birthday day for my Charley girl, and she may not have loved it, but I was very excited to be able to bathe her myself and she looked beautiful.

These people are the best! They have such great knowledge about pet nutrition. My dog was at the point of not surviving due to food allergies doing damage to his organs. They pointed me in the right direction and prolonged his life by over a year. They are now helping me get my new puppies off to the right start.

This store has a fantastic concept. Retail, coffee, dog wash etc. The Green Spot is conveniently located and they have everything that I need there. They even sell my special brand of food. The staff is always helpful. Im looking forward to watching this store develop and bring on new products.

Love their Organic and Grain-Free selections of food and treats. The workers there are always so helpful, if you have any questions about anything pet-related they can answer it for you! Also sign up for their reward card, I get a $5 off my purchase every now and then which is really nice!

I went into the store with my two babies, both with their own eating issues. The staff greeted me with a smile and then helped answer all of my questions about proper nutrition for my babies. They helped me find a food that both my dogs will eat and no more allergy issues!
