Ive been using this company for over ten years. Like the other reviewer, yes there are some employees who will not be nice or accurate however, the supervisor usually makes it right. I had a customer service nightmare when I did my roof, being told I was getting the wrong size vents& then getting "in hot water" with my roofer because I had the wrong stuff for my little house. The supervisor made it as right as was feasible in the circumstances. The lock counter is awesome! They can re-key most locks & give you up to 6 keys. They can also fix if your lock/door knob assembly has metal parts. The window & siding divisions at this place have been great too... helping me repair or replace things correctly/right the first time. Most recently I got the trim for my entire living room and I discovered when I got the load home, the order was messed up. They fixed it with a smile. The quality I get here is always better then the big box regular consumer retail places as using stuff that lasts will cost less in the long run because you dont have to replace it or deal with it until you have time to replace it.

I love referring people to places that manage good customer service ,after all, your business is thanks to your customers. But this compay is the WORST place ever. NEVER EVER do I hope to have business with this company again. Not only does the "supervisor" not give a S#! But they say one thing and do another. They have no word as a company and I cant even come up with something good to say, not for the employees and not for the company itself. Not to mention the fact they had the nerve to lie about what they were telling me until I confronted them about it, not funny trying to hear all of those excuses. Too bad I couldnt rate them at no stars, If you need something fixed, take it elsewhere!

I agree with Mark Andersons review below. Horrible to deal with as a walk-in customer. They just dont seem to want that business. The staff upstairs in the railing department cant seem to get on the same page. Told us to hire a contractor the 1st time, gave us a name of one they use all the time (who never called back after several messages), then told us they do the install themselves and we dont need a contractor the 2nd time....2 months later. Still waiting for someone to come measure....so 3rd call today, and yet another set of directions. Cant get anyone there to follow through. Will have to find someone else that wants our money.

We used Builders for our spindles, doors, and door hardware. We worked with Stan and he is AWESOME! Super knowledgeable, quick with prices, and so friendly! My husband and I worked with many vendors during our house build and Stan definitely sticks out as a top favorite. Our doors and hardware we bought from him turned out top-notch too. Overall, the end products and customer service at Builders are fantastic. If you are building a house, wed highly recommend you work with Stan at Builder Supply.

We met such an awesome salesman who was extremely patient and helpful. We wanted to make a camera slider which has so many small parts. He helped us find the correct items and gave many suggestions for improvement. The best salesperson I have ever met! What a shame we forgot to ask for his name, but well definitely come back :).

Horrible.....after 3 months, still cant seem to have the right door cut..mixed up orders, terrible customer service. Maybe the contractors get treated better....because the walk in customers sure as hell dont...
