Selection, staff, products A++. I would pick ace over Menards any day. I have started to become more of a fan of Big B Ace, Yes they are getting in more variety now than menards. Even though, yes Ace is a smaller store, its the little things that count, that menards NEVER carries. After a comparison of menards lumber, and another taste of their direct customer service (at menards) I pretty much wanted to puke after dealing with menards and what they have to offer for staff. I came over to ace on the same day, purchased what i needed, and there was a HUGE difference in Quality between menards. INFACT I purchased the SAME UPCd item here, and at menards, and there was a night and day difference between the quality. ITs true, menards receives factory rejects, they sell it slightly cheeper and then accuse YOU, of being negligent. That doesnt fly in my books. So with that being said. Ace, is the Ace in the hole, for receiving quality products in Hastings Nebraska, I am going to vote it as my #1 stop for hardware supplies in Hastings, Nebraska.

I needed a flexible hose for an older kitchen socket faucet. Adam was very helpful, recommended tape, and a refund handled very professionally..... across the street was trying to sell others a new shower head and hose...... keep up the good work! Nice Floorplan, and friendly staff. Was called by name when I walked into the door by Linda Dill, an acquaintance of mine. Also asked if someone could help, and directed to Adam at the information desk. Awesum idea. Priceshow very competitive, and great quality. 5 minute fix with right parts. I will come back more often, and suggest others do too! Did I mention locally owned and operated by local people? :)

The sales people are knowledgeable about the merchandise, construction, home maintenance and home improvement. They give good recommendations and advice that actually works. If they dont have exactly what you are looking for or need to finish the project, they will order it for you. If you want them to carry something they dont normally carry, they will stock it for you. This makes Big G Ace a great place to find things you cant find anywhere else.
