I filled my car with completely needless junk in free items and coupon sales and overstock. I just kept going back in with a coupon and shopping again. After spending only three hundred dollars one day, my car would not hold anything else in the trunk or the cab. These chinese tools are so cheap, I bet Ill break some of them, and still enjoy it. I feel like I am a bad person for abusing the free items. I went in every afternoon for a month during their free screwdriver set with every sale. And I dont mean the screwdriver with the worthless bits, I mean the plastic handles that come in a pack of #1 , #2(most common size in the world), and #3 in both flat and crosstip. I discovered the latino newspapers in San Antonio bundle at least four harbor freight ads every month. Plus the San Antonio Express has three to four ads every Sunday paper. And then San Antonio Current has them sometimes. Im clearly getting more than Harbor Freight. Is this wrong? I dont know. But its alot of fun showing off 100 long handle screwdrivers . Entire buckets filled with tools in my garage, and every kind of pliers, pincers, snips, and clippers you could ever desire. I dont know what Im doing anymore. Im building things I shouldnt be building. Im a tool freak. I have tools from Ingersol Rand, Craftsman, you name it. And this chinese stuff is crazy good quality. Pick it up, if it feels ,"good," it is. If it feels,"inferior," put it down. It is. Haha. Youll find damn good stuff in here and youll find strange dollar store items you should never even think about trying. Only problem? Does not offer a 10% veteran discount. Only tool company Ive ever seen that doesnt. Bummer. Its a military city too. This place has the cheapest essentials in town. Cheaper than Walmart. Yes.... scary in some cases... some stuff you should look at but some stuff... surprisingly good.

I went to the Harbor Freight Tools location at 7555 NW LP 410 here in San Antonio a few minutes ago to buy a little $3.99 package of precision screwdrivers for my girlfriend. The sales clerk there was one of the rudest Ive run across in years. She angrily refused to make the sale if I wouldnt provide my home address, email address, phone number and drivers license. When she insisted on taking my credit card and drivers license so that she could compare the two, I told her to cancel the transaction. I walked into the store in a good mood, but walked out with absolutely no intention of ever patronizing this place again.

I wanted a 2 wheel Dolly/Utility Truck, Lowes had the same thing for $59.99- Home Depot $54.99 "neither" had in stock!!! I got same thing 700lb Dolly/Truck for $39.99 plus another 20% for Memorial Day Sale.... Plus employees GREAT!!! Even though it was farther to drive it was well worth it for the price and employees.... Harbor Freight has ALL my business!!! Cant believe the other stores you have to order and wait!!! I ending up paying half what the other 2 stores wanted after discount, and they had it in stock!!! Great Sales and VERY happy customer....thanks

I like shopping at pretty much all the harbor freights for the simple fact that theyve got good cheap tools with lots of deals going on all the time. The quality of their tools is ok, but you get what you pay for. Youre not going to get snap on or craftsmen, but youre not going to come close to spending what you would for those brands. Plus, theyve got a variety of things that you never thought about buying until you go into a harbor freight store and see for yourself.

Gotta love this place. Id say the only thing it needs is more checkout staff during high traffic times. That being said, about half of the time the lines are backed up because customers dont know what they want or they dont have their coupons ready.

Double check the price tags. Sometimes their products have a price tag for discount members but no price tag for regular customers... You will not know the real price until you are at the counter paying for your items.

This store gets me in trouble, it always has some tool I didnt know I needed. Lol. If Im ever in need of a particular tool, I know Harbor Freight has it. And there is a good warranty onost of this geoe tools.

You get what you pay for so you may not get the best quality tool for the cheapest prise here but its a good store to buy OK tools here plus Ive never had rude employees or a bad prise.

Poor return service. DONT follow return policy that is printed on back of the receipt. Want to much personal information. Only been once but will not go back.

Oblivious customer service, rude, and unable to help you when you ask them if they have a certain tool there. The cashiers know NOTHING of definition of tools.

Great place to get tools. Some of their tools arent the highest quality, but most are fine and will save you quite a bit over the bigger hardware stores.

Do not go to this store try every other store in San Antonio before this one they never have anything in stock and they will not sell you the floor model.
