Outstanding service! I moved to the greater St Louis area over a year ago and have been dissappointed with bike shops here. Wheel Sports is an exception. They go to great lengths to meet your needs, have fair and honest prices, and excellent work. I ordered a Redline Proline bike from them, well below MSRP. It was ready to race exactly when Steve said it would, plus he let my four year old son (who the bike was for) behind the counter and help him build and tune his bike. Ive only been in one other shop in five states with that kind of service. I go to Wheel Sports exclusively for BMX bike work, and I live an hour and a half away.

Buyer beware.. I do not usually change my reviews but it seems after purchasing a bike from Steve he completely changes. I have had issues with getting my bike in for a followup tune up now for a month since I bought it. Steve is so prideful that he will not re-adjust things once he has touched it. To add to my problems, when I bought the bike I paid cash up front and then was jerked around for a month with excuse after excuse because he used my money to rob Peter to pay Paul and then he wants to get into heated arguments once you call him on it. Do yourself a favor.. take your business elsewhere.

Take your pick of bike shops in the greater St. Louis / St. Charles area, and youll experience indifferent and apathetic service. Thats not the case at Wheel where the focus is on serving not sales pressure or getting you out of the shop as fast as possible. The owner even tried to avoid making a sale if a repair was an option - how many times do you encounter that in retail? The prices are also ridiculously good. In fact, several items had prices lower than what large online discount services offer. I highly recommend the team at Wheel. Please support them.

First point I would like to make is I dont do review online. Ever. The owner has the best customer service I have ever been apart of and I demand good customer service. His prices are great even better than online. Customer Service is 2nd to none. I am 12 years former military and did not mention this but noticed this guy does a lot for the military when I poked around the community. I didnt want that to bias my experience. I will be a permanent customer and would dive any distance or pay to ship and will be a life long customer.

Absolutely awesome bike shop. In this day and age of "Bike Shops" that pretty much only cater to all the Lance Armstrong / tour de France want to bes and have 100% no clue about anything when it comes to BMX bikes, or the parts for them. Thats definitely not the case when you come here. Yes he does know and deal with all types of bikes, but if you need anything involving new or old BMX, this is the only place you need to go to. Like I said. Absolutely awesome. Huge thanks from a dying breed of riders!!!!!!!

Amazing place, great service, and a good attitude. I went in to get a stem for my dyno compe, and he just gave it to me for free! This shop is filled with lovely people and good attitudes. I deffinetly will be going here the rest of my life. I deffinetly recommand this shop!

If you need any type of work done on your bicycle, this is the place to get it done. Mike is always great to work with and he charges so little sometimes that I feel like I need to tell him to charge me more. I will give them my business whenever I have the chance.
