I went into Visionworks last week and had a great experience when picking out my glasses. They came in only a few days later, ahead of when they estimated so I was pleasantly surprised. I went to pick them up and was in and out in a very short period of time. After getting my glasses home I saw that there was a small scratch on one of the lenses, so I went back about an hour after picking them up and showed the employee the scratch. He was immediately apologetic and said that they would replace the lens but I would have to come back the next day when a manager was present. I went back the next day and the manager told me that I would have to pay to have the lens replaced. I explained to her that I saw the scratch as soon as I got home and came back as soon as I could and was then told to come back and they would be fixed. She continued to tell me that I would have to pay to have the lens replaced because all glasses are "carefully inspected" before given to the customer. Never did she apologize or offer any other solution. I will be returning the glasses for a full refund and will not be returning to Visionworks again.

Horrible experience. My wifes employer switched to Davis Vision insurance this year. Visionworks is owned by Davis Vision, and I ordered contacts here without a problem. I attempted to order rx sunglasses here, and will not be returning because of it. I ordered grey polarized lenses with AR coating and frames thru them, in store. I supplied my own rx from my doctor. The first pair came back with amber lenses. The second pair came back with some kind of edge polishing that completely distorted my peripheral vision and I did not ask for, nor have I ever experienced in 25 years of wearing glasses. The third pair came back with the wrong lens color again. I promptly returned those glasses and received a refund. I have no idea when I will get my insurance benefit back so I can go somewhere else. I will not be returning to this store or company, and I suggest that you do not either.

This place is absurd. The one time I was in there for an eye exam the employee working with us was totally incompetent. He clearly had no idea what he was doing and should not have been allowed to be working with patients on his own. The doctor was not friendly or polite. A week or so after that one exam I was called and told to pick up contacts that I hadnt ordered. Now a year later I was notified I had an upcoming appointment. I never made any other appointments; I dont even live in MO anymore. There are some strange things going on at this Visionworks locations and I would not recommend anyone get involved in it.

Terrible customer service and a very unpleasant experience. I will never step foot in their location, let alone any other Visionworks. Save your time and money!
