Completely ruined the "wedding dress" experience. I had been to quite a few stores and had a style in mind that worked for my body type and style of wedding we are having. After being pushed into trying on dresses that I knew wouldnt work, nor did I even like, we finally convinced our consultant into bringing in a dress that was the style and shape I wanted. The owner came over as she was showing us the dress for me to put on and said that it would never work, would look bad, and she would pull something else for us. I insisted on trying it on, and it was the dress I ended up purchasing. They wouldnt tell me the name of the designer, which I understand so you dont purchase it somewhere else, but I was buying it that day, paid for it in full and they had said they would tell me after the purchase was made. The owner insisted that she was the only shop in the state that carried that designer/style. She wouldnt tell me that day, which I felt was weird, and when I called a few more times over the next few weeks, they reluctantly told me the name of a designer. I couldnt find a photo of the dress anywhere with that designer. The day that my dress was to be picked up, I went with my MoH to another bridal store to pick up her bridesmaid dress. The SAME dress by a TOTALLY DIFFERENT designer was at that store for almost a thousand dollars less! I was devistated and extremely angry that someone would take advantage of someone in such a delicate position. When I came in to pick up my already paid for dress, at the appointment time, I was made to wait for a very long time, they didnt have a fitting room for me, so I had to change in the grooms tux room at the front of the store with no mirrors, and had little to no help through the process. When I gave her the opportunity to tell me the correct designer, she asked if she had told me if it was "Designer A", I said that wasnt what she told me, she made me wait another 5 minutes, came back and asked if she had told me it was "Designer B." Clearly at this point, she had lied to us before, had no idea what she had told us and was trying to recover. I showed her pictures of the dress at the other shop and the price that it was there and she told me that it was a copy. Considering she couldnt tell me the designer name, nor could I find a photo anywhere of the dress at the designer she told me, there would be no way it was a copy. Her way of resolution was to give me a discount on bridesmaid dresses or a MoB dress. Why would I spend more money with you if you just scammed me out of $1000??? Customer service was horrible, and now just weeks before my wedding, all I can think of when I see my dress is how I still have yet to have a good experience in it.

At my appointment the girl helping me was unable to adequately lace up some of the dresses. They felt like they were going to fall off of me and it was very difficult to see what I would actually look like were I to purchase some of these dresses. I thought it would be a good idea to see how a few that I liked would look like on a model (by looking the dress up online). So, as I was leaving I asked for the designer/dress name or style number associated with my top picks. They said they were "unable to tell me until they ordered my dress". Hmmm... A person cannot call a company, if you have no idea its name (since the designer is unknown... SUPPOSEDLY), and order a gown without a dress name or style number. Do other brides fall for this??? They either: a) dont want to give it to me because they dont want me purchasing the dress elsewhere or b) are recreating the dresses themselves (i.e. STEALING other designers dress designs and "filling the orders" by their own seamstresses). Im no detective but... uhh... seriously?!? Whatever type of operation they are running, Im not interested and if youre smart, you wont be either. What a waste of TIME. Aside from that little *mystery*, one of the sales ladies was quite comfortable telling me how wrong I was about how another dress that I loved compared to one of her dresses that I was trying on. Somehow, since she supposedly doesnt know any names of designers/dresses, after I told her the designer and dress name of the one I was comparing, she knew "exactly which dress" I was referring to and disagreed with my observation; she said that the bodice did come as low as the one I had on. My point: Even if I was wrong, dont sit there and argue with the customer. Say something like, "Huh. I didnt think so but you could be right." Unless you want to take the "tell the customer how wrong she is and try and force her into a dress shes obviously not loving" approach which will likely get you... uh... nowhere. Seriously: do not waste your time. Other shops around this city have MUCH NICER and more TRANSPARENT owners. Not owners that seem like they have something to hide and know nothing about common courtesy and customer service. I felt very much like Wedding Gallery was being dishonest and I wouldnt trust them to lace me up in another gown let alone trust them with the gown I will wear on the most important day of my life.

First things first THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I couldnt be more happier as the bride to be. Ty was so wonderful in helping me find a dress, getting me into it; and staying within my budget. I was in tears once I found the one and had it on while she dimmed the lights and I starred into that mirror at myself. It really was the most amazing experience, and one I will not forget for a lifetime. I was so over whelmed with other places, and had terrible experiences else where, that when I came into the N 2nd street location to look for a dress. I competently felt at home and at ease. Not only did I find my size, but I felt beautiful in all of their gowns and veils that I tried on. Ty honestly was the biggest help and I havent a clue on how I could ever re-pay her for what she did for me that day. Really no lie, she really was a tremendous help. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. An thank you to a close friend of mine and Google for finding this Gem. So I put money down on my dress and when I went back to pay it off and pick it up, Claudette was there to assist me in the final process of my purchase. I tried my dress on one more time before bringing it home and Claudette was a big help at explaining the corset tie and how to properly tuck it in, once it was all tied up. She also gave me another full experience with my dress on before I took it off. I cant thank her enough as well for all her help and assisting me with finding the perfect veil to go with my beautiful wedding gown. We talked about some arrangements I was thinking about for my bu-cay and she even taught me the place flowers together in odd numbers not even; because it looks a lot better. Something I didnt even know, so thank you!!! So if your looking for a total amazing experience, see one of these sweet ladies and get into some beautiful dresss and find the One. I would recommend this place and any of their locations to friends and family, but also you who reads this review. An remember, we all have bad experiences, but its how you deal with them as a person. See it for yourself before you judge, no matter what others say. <3 Thanks again Ladies!!!
