I have been going to the bridal shoppe for many years now, whether it was for my prom or homecoming dresses, the staff was very friendly and enthusiastic. I love how they have a variety of selections to choose from, and their prices were never too high. They are very reasonable, and make sure you are 110% satisfied or they will work whatever out to make you happy. I recently got married on July 24th, 2010 and the Bridal Shoppe was my first place to shop. I was pressed for time because my husband is in the military and we had to hurry and get my dress in a month, his tux, and our groomsman and bridesmaid dresses. They took me in with no appt and helped me find a dress right away. I found my beautiful dress on the second try-on, and it was amazing. They were all so excited, and happy that I found my dress there. My family was there too, and my husbands and they were making sure that my family felt welcomed. They made sure I had my shoes, bra, dress, and everything I needed. Luckily my dress did not have to be hemmed(sp?) it just had to be busseled. They did an amazing job with busseling, cleaning it, and making sure it was pressed for our special day. They also had made sure my husbands tux was there within two weeks of a fitting, and the groomsman as well. The bridesmaids were all over and two were from Maryland, and they made sure they fit them perfectly and were ready for the wedding in two weeks. The other two were from Missouri, and they made sure they were perfect for them two as well. Basically I have been going to the bridal shoppe for years now, and it has been amazing. From the staff (Jenny, and the owner Terri) they always seem to have smiles, caring attitudes, and want to make your experience the best one yet!! I recommend the Festus Bridal Shoppe for all your needs!! Love them!

The first time I stepped into this little shop in Crystal City, I was pleasantly surprised. I found the dress I wanted immediately and ordered it, they mentioned the VIP program they had and said if we bought the bridesmaid dresses there I would save 180 on my dress. I thought no brainer sure. Well the next time I came in the staff was not attentive at all, and very rude to all my girls pressuring them into choosing to buy right that day. Even after some of the girls stated they couldnt afford the dress that day. After the poor service and rudeness of the staff we ultimately decided not to buy the dresses there. Fast forward a few weeks ago I went in to payoff my dress they said my balance was 189 which is what I was expecting. I paid it off then decided to order my veil too which was another 188, I put half down. I came in today to pick up my veil and pay the other half and they said I owed 270 because I didnt do the VIP program. I told them I was in a few weeks ago and told them I was paying it off and no mention of it then. They offered no apologies, nor any assistance and insisted to pick up my veil I had to pay them 270. Now because they royally screwed me over I will not be able to have hair and makeup done. This was the most awful experience ever when it should have been fun and exciting. I would never recommend this shop to anyone.

I did not purchase my wedding dress here, but I received great service when I arrived as a walk in 1 hour before closing (I had a terrible experience as a walk in at another bridal store). They have a great selection of styles and sizes. I am a size 2, so it was difficult to find anything near my size at other bridal stores. They had plenty of size 2s, 4s, and 6s for me to try on! I wanted to buy my dress off the rack, because I had less than 6 months until the wedding and with the Chinese New Year factories would be closed for a month of that time, plus time for alterations. I found a dress that I loved, but it was a little out of my price range. They offered a 10% discount for buying it off the rack, but it was quite dirty with makeup marks on it. The 10% discount just wasnt enough for me to purchase a dirty wedding dress (most likely with other flaws) that was out of my price range and a size too big. I would have ordered a new one through their store, but due to time constraints I just couldnt. I also noticed their shoes were very reasonably priced.

Absolutely terrible experience all around. First, the tux I rented was HUGE on me. I dont mean a little baggy. At least 3 sizes too big, in all areas. It took 16 days after ordering to get it in, so considering the event I needed it for was in 3 days and I had no free time the next 2, I was stuck with it. But thats not the worst of it. My friends dress was ordered much too big when she got it. So, they worked on it and said theyd size it correctly. Wrong. In the end, it was way too small. After 3 or 4 more fittings, and 3 days before the event, it ALMOST fit perfectly, but the sides of the dress looked...awful. Fortunately, we were able to hide it. Friendly staff, before the rude owner thinks she has a problem. Then she blames it on the manufacturer of the dress, even though they PROMISED us 16 days prior to the final fitting that they would make it work, and when we asked, "well what if not," they replied, "It will work." Terrible.

Krista was an absolute blessing! I came in with my mother August 26, 2016 just to browse and see if my price range was feasible. Krista asked what I had in mind, asked to see my Pinterest page and withing minutes had my dream dress in her hand. She respected my budget and didnt show me things outside of my price range. She made my dress buying experience easy, fun and relaxed. I was so happy with my dress and her I had all my bridesmaids come January 3, 2017 to have them find their perfect bridesmaids dresses. She was amazing yet again! She got all of them in their ideal dresses and really listened to their concerns and picked something that made them feel beautiful! We did have an issue with ordering two of the dresses after the company discontinued the dress, but she turned what could have been a disaster into another fun experience. Krista was amazing and I will happily recommend every bride to be I meet to the Bridal Shoppe because of her!

My daughter wanted to "Keep it Local" for the vendors for her wedding. We made an appointment to shop while at a bridal show. On initial trip to the shop, my daughter couldnt find what she was looking for. However she did find a dress she loved at another shop and called to make sure Terri could get it. Terri said she could and we ordered it. It came in about a week sooner than initially stated and exactly as expected. With Sarah living in TN, alterations were put off until a week before the wedding. Sue at The Alteration Shop, an affiliate of The Bridal Shoppe, did an excellent and speedy job!! Thank you to everyone for helping to make my daughters wedding a beautiful, stress-free event!
