I absolutely love White Traditions! I actually found the store completely by accident, but I wound up finding my dress there. I was intending to visit another shop in the area but discovered it was the stores destination wedding branch rather than traditional. They directed me to their main branch, but Id seen White Traditions on my way in and decided to stop there first. This turned out to be a great decision. I walked in without an appointment and I was welcomed anyways. They told me to go ahead and pick out some dresses. I found so many gorgeous dresses and they even had most of them in sizes larger enough to fit me (size 16-20). I was quite impressed with the selection since it was a small shop. Id been to a much larger store but it seemed all they had was polyester dresses. After that first store, I thought Id have to raise my budget to get what I wanted, but White Traditions had quality dresses at wonderful prices. Trying on dresses was a great process. Jessica definitely knew what she was doing and was able to quickly (but correctly) lace me into my corset gowns. The first dress I tried on was an absolute winner. Even with this, I wasnt pressured to buy. I tried on the rest of the dresses, coming back to the first one a couple times. In the end, I decided to buy the first dress (still without any pressure!). I was very happy since it actually came in under my initial budget (which wasnt terribly high). When my dress came in, they discovered that it had a snag. They called me to let me know that they were immediately sending it back to the manufacturer and a new one would be sent within a week (this was no problem because I live out of town and wasnt visiting until a month later). Once the replacement was in, I came in, along with my sister-in-law and flower girls, to try it on and pick it up. It was just as great as I remembered. I also found a veil that day. Additionally, my flower girls also tried on several flower girl dresses but just didnt find the one. The staff was very patient and didnt pressure us to buy anything. A couple days after ordering my veil, a family member offered to make my veil for me (I completely forgot she made veils!). I called up White Traditions and they were able to cancel the order for me - no guilt or pressure. White Traditions is absolutely wonderful. They have a cute shop, high-quality gowns, and attentive service. I highly recommend you check them out if you are looking for your wedding gown!

In disbelief of how bad the service was. I had a couple of friends say they went in there and they liked the little boutique atmosphere. So I made an appointment and showed up about 10 minutes early. I walk in and they tell me to pick my own dresses which I thought was really weird (especially since I had just left Wedding Gallery Couture in which I had to do nothing but relax and enjoy). So my mom, sister and I walk around looking for dresses that I would like and pull some. I head back to the dressing room (which is so so so little) and get into a dress. I come out and there is no place for me to stand to look in the mirror. They only have two places to look and both where taken. (Why they would schedule more than two at one time is beyond me but..) So she puts me on this little box on the side of the other mirrors so I can see. That was fine because there was two other brides there. So I tried on a couple more and while I was in the corner little mirror one of the brides had left but there was still a woman sitting on the couch where my mom and sister would be sitting. After about my 5th dress (45 min) one of the girls comes up to me and says "Oh you can use the big mirror over there". I was like ok but there was a lady still sitting there. So I move over to the big mirror and the lady finally gets up and walks behind the couch. I was confused until I realize the lady WORKED THERE!!! She made my mom and sister stand for 45 min while she sat on the couch hanging out (arm over back of couch) and watching! I about died! SO disappointed in the lack of professionalism here. They wear what ever they want and I feel like Im in Wet Seal or something. Which is saying something really bad because I havent been in since I was 14. NOT WORTH A TRIP HERE! GO somewhere else! You not buying a tank top.. your buying a Wedding Dress. Professionalism should be a main factor.

Ok, let me first off say that White Traditions Bridal House is AMAZING! I had gone to a couple of bridal gown shops before going here and WTBH just blew away the competition! It is in Old Town St. Charles which is convenient for doing lunch with your mom or drinks with your bridesmaids afterwards. I first walked in and was in love with the atmosphere-it is seriously the cutest shop ever! Most bridal salons felt super standard and were impersonalized/bland/blah. WTBH is just the opposite! It has beautiful decor and you feel transported into your own bridal world! They have a great selection without overwhelming you. They seriously picked the best out of the best dresses. Jessica, the owner, and her staff (especially Jenny!) are awesome! Jessica has worked in retail before owning this shop and will help you pick what will work best for your body style. I seriously cannot say enough great things about Jessica! She has kept the shop open late (over 30 minutes) so I could pick my veil to go with my dress. She let me try on my dress (which I am in love with) a dozen times to show different people. She does not pressure you. She also gives you great non-wedding dress fashion advice-which if you see her amazing fashion style, youll heavily value that advice. She is also really fun to talk to-every single time I went we ended up talking afterwards for at least 15 minutes! Jessica is just so sweet and considerate! Shes the best and all of her hard work and efforts show at WTBH! Definitely go here for your dress, because I sincerely doubt you will find anywhere better! :)

My experience there was perfect. From the first minute, Jessica (the store owner) was professional, kind, honest, extremely knowledgable and above-and-beyond helpful. She offered great advice when asked and had a wonderful, upbeat, can-do personality. She also, clearly, has awesome taste and was never ever pushy. After the wedding I needed to have my gown cleaned. Jessica helped me with that as well! In every interaction it was as though she took pleasure in helping me out as much as she could! Of all the places I visited, I would ONLY recommend THIS store. One more thing: another shop in the same area was a nightmare. The sales ladies were rude to me, dishonest, and very pushy. They had no designer names/labels on their gowns to keep people from comparison shopping with other stores. If a store has good products, great people, and competitive prices, you dont have to resort to lying to customers (saying you dont have the information about a gown - if you didnt, how can you order them - send up a prayer and the wedding dress goddess delivers it magically? Or is there some illegal sewing of knock-offs going on there??) just to get business. Nothing is hidden at White Traditions, there are BEAUTIFUL dresses, wonderful sales people AND competitive prices. Go ahead and look elsewhere... but good luck finding a better place! Seriously.
