Another update: the phone I ended up with is an expensive, terrible phone. Some hardware faults and some software (from the software it comes with that you cant get rid of). There is 0 chance I will ever bother with Setcell again. Hours and hours of my time and hundreds of dollars to get a phone that is frustrating to use. My Nexus 6 screen broke and needed it fixed or replaced ASAP, so I hit all the shops in Westport to see if any had any screens in stock. None did, but Setcell had the biggest selection of phones out of them so I went to them last and ended up with a used 5X that at first seemed OK. But, after some day-to-day use, some hardware faults became apparent: The headphone jack was faulty (it wouldnt detect the headphones were removed ever, and thought all headphones had a mic, so could not make any calls after using headphones until a reset), and the camera wouldnt focus at all, not even try. Both of these are invisible faults but should have shown up pretty readily to even basic used phone tests. I returned and they cleaned out the headphone jack (I hadnt noticed the camera problem in the first couple days) and it seemed to fix it, but it returned to the same behavior shortly thereafter, and I noticed the camera problem. Had to return to the store twice more, the first time basically was told the camera problem was software related (I cant find anything to verify that, and it didnt work from day 1 I bought it based on my photo album) and was ignored when asking about the headphone issue. So came back another day angrier and managed to get taken more seriously, they offered to swap it out for another model since they had no more 5Xs. Ended up with another used phone, again, appearance looks fine, camera works, headphones work, but after a couple days of using it, I can see the "case" of the phone is looking a bit loose (not sure this matters) but also that the speakers are probably on the way out, as well as the battery. I only need this phone for a few months so at this point Im not sure its worth making a 6th or 7th trip back to the store, taking time off work or my life, to deal with it. But based on the quality of their used phones, I dont think Ill buy anything from them in the future or trust them to repair anything I have that breaks. Im giving them 2 stars instead of one because they did at least attempt to fix (some) of the problems with the phone they sold me (eventually). Edit: Just to emphasize, its been just over a month now since my Nexus 6 broke, 5 trips to their store, and I still dont have as good a phone as if I had just spent $200 on eBay, Ive wasted a number of hours driving and waiting, and the phone I have cost more than it would have in that case as well. Edit 2: Another day with phone #2 and the speakers are clearly almost broken, sound AWFUL playing anything over half volume, and Ive had to charge it THREE times today from the use of 20 minutes of a game, 1 podcast, and 1 phone call that lasted under 2 minutes. The battery is bad enough I clearly have to take it back and try to get it fixed or replaced, again. Update: I went back Friday, and Tyler sat there with me and tested my phone, and then we spent the better part of an hour testing another replacement just to see that it did in fact work. It is possible, albeit exceedingly unlikely, that I managed to locate the only 2 hardware-defective phones in the case. In the end, I do have a phone that works and has no apparent defects after a few days. I do appreciate the effort made (aside from my one visit that was very disappointing) to correct the problems, but with the phones at or slightly above the highest costs for the same models online, I would hope they would at least be a little more tested to save everybody some time and frustration. The battery drain is the only thing I encountered which could have been due to software, but even then, I ended up with that same model using my same software with no particular issues

Its unusual to find a business that still cares about the customer, and that staffs its locations with people who know what theyre talking about, and who actually know how to provide exemplary customer service. Ive been a T-mobile customer since 1997, and I thought I knew a lot about phones and plans. Christina carefully guided me through a lot of statistics and facts about the industry, and instead of encouraging me to spend $699 on a brand new phone, she suggested a much more cost-effective option that was perfect for me. She actually found out what I needed in a phone, and sold me THAT phone, instead of one that could have made her company more money. THATS quality customer service. Setcell does a lot of what they do, "while you wait," so theyve created a great lounge area with TVs, a snack machine, and a soda dispenser, so you can be comfortable while you wait. They have technicians onsite, along with the aforementioned incredibly knowledgeable sales staff. The whole place has a really laid-back vibe, which further contributes to the customer service. You dont feel like youre getting "sold" here, you feel like youre getting helped by your friends. That makes a huge difference. If you want a no-nonsense place to get the facts about your particular carrier, how you could save money on your service, and pick up a beautiful, lower-priced phone, this is the place. I do a lot of my shopping and product comparing online, but I always try to patronize local businesses when its time to buy. Im really glad I did, because Setcell is my new go-to place for all things cellphone. And they should be yours, too!

I am very disappointed... I wrote a review, a pretty scathing one, which is my right as a customer... yet it was removed. The young lady who helped me, posted a response to my review... which is tacky. All businesses get reviewed some will be bad. My experience in the store was less than stellar and people have a right to know my experience. I came in a purchased a used phone, which I loved. I mean I really loved this phone, it was one of the coolest I had ever owned, right up until it flipped out and started calling people with out my direction and began opening apps independently. When I asked this store how they planned to "make that right" I was told my only option was to bring in the phone so they could make sure I hadnt done something. I had only owned the phone for 2 weeks. I made it clear when I called and when I was in to purchase the phone, that the river market is quite a trek for me as I live further south. I did not demand a refund, I demanded them give me some kind of an option to get a new phone and make this situation right. You see, I had no phone and lived 40 miles south and the news was calling for an ice storm... I am sure it is not hard to understand why I would not want to take a chance driving all that way when there was no promise of resolution on a faulty device. Hopefully, people who are considering purchasing a used phone, when they have other options will think twice when they hear of my experience. I spent a great deal more on a used phone that lasted two weeks, than I did on a brand new phone that I am very satisfied with.
