Even though it was Labor Day Weekend and they were having a major sale, it seemed like they were staffed as though it was any regular weekday. There were at least 20 people waiting in line at the cutting counter with only two cutters. Eventually, a third cutter came, but only after 45 minutes and many anxious and upset customers. The checkout line was just as long with only one employee. Finally, after a woman complained, two more showed up. It took us over an hour to get our fabric cut and at least another 15 minutes to check out. I hope next time they are more prepared for a holiday weekend when they are running special sales. I saw many people leave and was tempted to myself except I live 100 miles from a store. So, if you are going there during the week, Im sure it is not as busy, but definitely stay away during weekends, especially holiday weekends. The sale really wasnt worth the hour wait. Next time I will just order what I want offline and pay the extra to have it shipped or have my local fabric shop order what I need.

Started sewing after about 25 years. Went for needles, bobbins and thread for my new sewing machine and some fabric. The thing that got me the most was there was no one available to help. Did not see a single employee walking around offering assistance. I gathered up the supplies I thought I needed except the fabric because there was a huge line at the cutting tables. I got to the cashier and asked if the thread I picked out was standard sewing machine thread and the cashier said she had no idea and didnt know anything about thread. They seemed to have a good selection of everything but sewing supplies.

I used to come here almost daily. I waited in line for 15 minutes but left my card in the car. I went and got it and came back in and was informed Id have to wait at the BACK of the line to pay for my things which were already bagged. There was 31 people in line and 3 cashiers. The rude one who told me to go to the back looked diseased like she was broke out in chicken pox from head to toe. I left. Wont be returning. Ill take my business to hobby lobby where they actually care about customers.

Patterns area was NOT marked well at all. Spent about 15 mins trying to find my aunt, walking the entirety of the store. The patterns area is just a section with chairs in the middle. It also has some books to look at. Just letting people know in case they are looking for their aunt in the pattern area. However, we got all the fabric for my fianceés dress at a very good price for the entire dress. For the price and customer service I would rate them 5 STARS, thats right FIVE WHOLE STARS!!

Store was kind of bare in too many places clearance merchandise was spread throughout the store it wasnt easy to find what needed and I couldnt find an employee to help me. I ended up not getting what I went for so now ill have to go some place else. Usually tbisbis one of my favorite stores its clean and bright and the employees are usually helpful and friendly.

Black Friday is the day I went. I walked in and they had moved all the CRICUT machines up front with its own purchasing isle. Ive never spent so much, in so little time at Joanns. I am usually in there for about an hour at least. And the line ups are usually really bad. It was like they were waiting for me today though! Awesome!

JoAnns is my favorite store. Love the quilt items, the quilt books, notions, patterns & the fabric. The cutting table gets backed up & could use more cutters at times. However, Im willing 2 wait to get the fabric, I want :) The coupons ARE not as Useful as they used 2 be, as everything is already on sale. The staff is always friendly.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. You could spend hours here just looking at all the great stuff. And their clearance section is amazing you can get stuff for 1$ when it was expensive before. Always look at the clearance!

Wonderful place to get some creative ideas. Make sure to check out their classes to help you learn what to do. Its quite a big storeand plan on browsing/shopping for at least an hour or so.

Its so damn hot in this building, the staff is barely moving. LONG lines for cut counter and registers. Makes a good case for online shopping.
