Mike is the best. He really goes above and beyond for the art he is putting on your body. If you ever need a tattoo that looks beautiful and realistic instead of cartoonish, ask for him. He did my girlfriends and I will definitely be going to him for all of mine. **Edit: While Mikes work is very good and unique, he is not responsible with time management and contacting clients. If you get a complex tattoo from him, make sure to get his number during your consult or he will not take the initiative to contact you, even if he says he will.

I went here two days ago to get my belly button pierced. It took a really long time, but Carla was really nice. She seemed more knowledgeable about piercings than other shops. She explained the type of jewelry that would work best for me and I even got to choose my piece of jewelry (some shops will give you a plain standard piece of jewelry). It was slightly crooked the day I got it, but it is starting to straighten and is better placed than when I got it pierced at a different tattoo shop.

Absolutely love Universal Ink. We have used them for multiple tattoos and for piercings. We have always received top quality work. The number of compliments I get on my Universal Ink tattoos far outweighs my other ink. The shop is clean and inviting and going there is always a good time. Listening to these guys tell stories is worth the pain! Go visit them and tell them that Chuck Liddell sent you.

Ive been to tattoo shops all over St. Louis, and some places are super friendly but youll end up with mediocre work, some places are outright snobby but youll get good work, and this place? This is the best of both. Whether a complex design or a small symbol, the attention to detail is what shines. Friendly and talented, I highly recommend this shop.

Universal Ink is just a name. The 2 people who are responsible for the reputation have moved. They now can be found upstairs over Shady Jacks in STL. Jason and Mike. Thanks for hooking Me up with the new ink. And when it needed touching up due to sweating, Mike did it free of charge. Advice. If youre looking for ink go see them.
