I had initially written a scathing review in which our experience with David Kodner had been very poor. They had initially told us our engagement ring would only take 10 days but instead took 6 weeks. During this period, we had had inquired about the progress of the ring several times and had received little to no correspondence. While they made a mistake in not communicating with us, they did go through significant lengths to make up for this. Immediately after my review, Mr. Kodner wrote me a lengthy email apologizing. The store was even kept open past their closing hour so that my fiance could pick up the ring after work. Additionally, Mr. Kodner apologized to him in person and refused any payment even though my fiance insisted. He realized that he had made a mistake and was adamant that he make this a positive experience for us. He only asked that we give him another chance in the future. We are reasonable people- we were not upset that the ring was late, but that we felt like there was no communication to let us know. That said, I do believe Mr. Kodner realized this and did everything he possibly could to make it right with us. He went above and beyond anything we could have expected. It shows that he takes his customers seriously. We were very impressed with this effort and certainly appreciated the gesture. Despite the prior issues, I believe that David Kodner Jeweler made up for the disappointments and turned this into a positive experience.

In my opinion, David Kodner is a jeweler who lacks integrity. I spent a great deal of money at his shop and feel cheated. If finding a jeweler you can trust is important to you, I advise you to move on and find another jeweler. I am currently pursuing litigation and will update this review on the outcome of the lawsuit. After reading the other reviews, I am reminded how easily a review can be purchased. Be very careful if you are considering purchasing anything from this jeweler. The fact that I even have to instigate a lawsuit to return a defective pair of earrings that cost several thousand dollars should tell you everything you need to know.

My experience with David, and Chris was exceptional. Both David and Chris, were always a pleasure to work with, they were very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. I never felt pressured during the buying experience, and they took their time to show me several different options, and they had a several great recommendations. I would recommend the store to anyone looking for engagement rings or anything else. These guys were a joy to work with, and they have gained a customer for life. Thank you guys.

My wife bent her engagement ring in a fall at home. We took it to Kodners for a repair. Not only did they repair it perfectly, but they also polished the ring and cleaned the stone. She said it hadnt been that bright for years. The service was on time and priced reasonably. This is the first place Ill go to look for jewelry gifts in the future.

The entire staff there was friendly and so knowledgable. We look forward to visiting them to pick out our wedding bands and other goodies in the future! I came here to have my watch battery changed. The guy behind counter was so incredibly nice and helpful that I brought in a few items to be fixed and resized. Not only did he fix everything immediately but he did most of it for free. Wonderful customer service!!!!!
